Well that makes you clueless then as De GAY is far better than him and so is Cech.

You want us to sign a rag? You?

I really think Hart cost us more then he save us. He save us game here and there and then every few games make a rookie mistake for 3 season now . We should have a better keeper really. And replace Pantilimon with Willy is one more stupid move. Question if we can bring anybody who you will love to see on our line ?

Here's a tip. Give it long enough and fans of every club will find fault with their keeper.

Except for David James. He was flawless in his time with us. But he didn't have to play chumps league.

Didn't hear you complain when we bought Tevez , so what would be the issue with De Gay (Not that it will ever happen)/

Firstly, I never took to Tevez because of his rag past.

Secondly, de Gea makes some spectacular saves but his distribution is just as shit as Joes.

Joe gives me confidence, de gea does not. I like that Joe is English. As an English club it makes sense to have English players in the side.

Last season we won the league in spite of him. As harsh as this sounds, this is the case. He cost us a lot of points the past two seasons and will continue to do the same.

If we need a example of how a keeper must grow, we need to take a look at De Gea.

Bulls eye Mr Parker!

Why would you ever want to feel confidence in Degay?

I think Joe Hart is a good keeper & would be difficult to improve on, but why can't he improve on some of the problems himself. Distribution is the most obvious and seems to be a no brainer to me, yet at 27 with loads of experience he doesn't seem to be able to remedy that flaw in his game.

Perhaps it the coaches responsibility!

This for me is the biggest issue. All keepers make mistakes and Joe is no different. What i really don't understand is how often he gets the ball and just hoofs it forward, giving it back to the opposition and increasing the pressure on the team. This is so easy to solve, it is criminal that it keeps happening. Just ban him from kicking past the halfway line. It rarely reaches a blue shirt so we won't be missing much

His new look is so brilliant, I like very much Joe with mustaches!

Joe needs to spend a couple of training sessions per week, perhaps not with the normal squad, some junior team not in goals, but playing football, only allowed to pass the ball.

Yes. I was very critical of him on Wednesday, indeed I would have played Caballero, but he did what he had to do reasonably well today.

I would however still like to see him catch the ball more often.

He's obviously being coached that if there's any traffic, then punch.

He was stuck to his line when he should have taken command and it should have been a goal , fucking idiocy !!
Also , 99% of his hoofs up field went to a Southampton player or just went out !!!!its fuckign abysmal.

He is a good keeper , just NOT good enough for Man City's number one spot.

Agree with you completely Carl - distribution is his downfall and it will never improve

I think it's only his kicking. There have been other top goalkeepers like this, but the defence is set up in such a way that kicking is rarely needed and the emphasis is on throwing the ball and breaking from there.

I can hand on heart say that I can pass the ball better than Joe Hart. Was very poor yesterday. Also there were a couple of punches that he had time to catch. Another day we could have conceded.

I got in early at Villa away, and the difference with Willy C , just knocking a ball back to the Keeper coach is stark, he has a natural strike, very little back lift and swwet strike, Joe is a full swing and hoof in the direction..

What's your take on his general performance this season?
