I do think there's a chance that both Edin and Jovetic leave. Edin won't be happy being demoted to number three in the pecking order especially if Pellegrini wants to play one up top in some of the big games. He tends to sulk and argue that he can't play well unless he's given a run of games. It's what happened when Negredo was playing well in the first half of last season. The fact that he was recently given a contract extension doesn't mean he'll stay; it simply strengthens our hand in transfer negotiations. I agree that Real are probably favourites to get Pogba if they really want him. If not we've got a very good chance, particularly in view of the fact that we have players they want as has been said, in Kolarov and Jovetic.

Just out of interest, do people think Pogba is worth both? As in would they take a hypothetical deal where kola and jovetic were swapped for Pogba?

I would ^

Getting someone who has the potential to be the best midfielder in the world with at least ten years ahead of him for a striker who's never settled and a left-back who's getting on a bit and has been in questionable form recently seems like a no brainer to me.

We can bring through Iheanacho and Angelino and we also wouldn't have spent much cos of the P/E and probs even cut wages too, thus leaving space for money for a striker if we want one.

Would Pogba really like to come to Manchester for the first time?

The idea we'd get pogba in a swap for jovetic and kolorov us a little optimistic though

Correct I'm afraid! The Star running that we're determined to get Reus and that he's interested in talking to us. I fear Real are favourites for Pogba but Reus is a damned good player and will be available in the Summer.

If we get Pogba, I'd be happier than us getting Barkley even without the Premier League experience.

As much as I rave about Barkley, Pogba isn't just the business, he is the finished article as well.

If we sign Pogba, there is one player who I think we are overlooking selling and let's face it, he'd hate that as much as missing out on cake.

And with that cake, I'd like a side of Isco, still can't get over his performances in the U21 WC.

Well if it's only those two clubs we have him.

The munes are a joke and he's going to want to be challenging for titles, not hoping for europa leage football.

Nice one.

Pogba is a great player and Barkley is usually shit, which is another factor!

Everton fans feel Martinez is to blame for the Barkley dip as he has him playing it safe and not his natural game.

Exactly.

Barkley isnt the kind of coached player he needs a bit of freedom to drive into areas and make things happen.

I have been wondering for a while if he left an "i" out of his user name between the t and m?
