Amazing goal. Imagine if starfish did that back heel for Coutinho? Sky and Tyler would have internally combusted

I don't think Stevie G could have done that back heel; he would have slipped and fallen over.

That Bolton game is another of mine.

What about Ireland's two last min goals to keep out undefeated streak going? Both top drawer, if memory serves one wasa sick volley after a hoof upfield.

Also kasper saving the penalty at arsenal.

I remember the Kaspar save, amazing. So gutted for him and us of course when we finally let a goal in.

As for the volley, it was also the only decent thing Samaras did for us during Sven's tenure:

"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I thought the very first League game of Sven's reign, away at West Ham, was a revelation.

With everything that was going on at the Club at the time and, bearing in mind our experience of previous, recent seasons, I was really worried and convinced we were going to get hammered (no pun intended) in that fixture.

Instead we played some surprisingly lovely, creative football that day and scored nice goals. It immediately lifted all the apprehension and potential gloom for me and City's footballing future somehow seemed a little brighter.

A lot of people forget what a good keeper Alex Williams was.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
