Nacho and Sterling look like they have a pretty good understanding already, could be an exciting partnership in the making

The pitch looks very poor - a lot of players seems to have problem controlling the ball. Especially the less technically gifted like Komps, Mangala and Sanga.

Fuck me, even in a friendly the ref's are against us!

Good attacking play though, let's go for the goal scoring record this season.

Can somebody please summarise for us office-dwellers?

From what i've gathered its 1-1. Steling scored ours and theirs was a screamer? And we should have had a few pens?

Silva look amazing

And Silva plays like he did during the 13-14 season again, albeit in a pre-season game.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Silva looks amazing. Holy shit. I hope he's not going to blow his wad in preseason.

Such a joy to watch. His goatee looks ready for battle as well.

Also that keeper shirt is a great color on a bald white man.

Nacho is defo going to get some chances this season. The kid may have the vibe of a Somali pirate but he looks just fantastical out there.

Kompany looks ready to have Denayer trot straight into the team to me. I'll have zero room for sympathy for him this season.

Cheers

Possession is probably 75-25 to our advantage. Nacho, Sterling and Silva are working well together up front. Garcia looks very composed. Fernando and Zuuculini are doing a good job holding the midfield, but in truth they don't have too much to do.
The back four looks a little bit shaky, but I think it's down to the poor pitch.

Cheers! Might have to nip out to find a pub with it on for second half.

Sterling covering a lot of ground off the ball.

Atmosphere is Shit as somehow city supporters bays have been spread over 3 and a bunch of day trippers are in complaining to security about anyone standing up.
Tracking back is overrated.
