I'm sick to death of this quick reply shit, with the opposite side shit to 'Submit'!

I'm a neanathal, has Doomie says, and you expect me to look at my posting options?

Lost multiple posts through changing the 'Submit' from right to left. Why can't they both be on the same side?

Anyway, Pellers out, there's nothing like pressure when posting.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Simple win in Europe this week. Lose and he gets to the Derby, lose that, Pellers is in deep shit as will be our aspirations. To suggest he is not under pressure is ridiculous mate. By the end today we looked a shambles.

So just how many offside goals should it take to get a successful manager sacked these days? just wondering...

Good point, if we take our chances, btw we missed sitters at Palace and nicked it in the end it does not matter. We look flakey and yesterday will have made life tougher for us all season now IMHO. We have the squad to walk the league, this week is massive now. 1st goal in the Premier is crucial Pellers tells us this a lot to then concede 4 like we did and look like a shit pub team, is not good. We are either breathtaking or car crash same as last season.

We always accept that we have the best squad and we should walk the league. In reality we are weak at left back and our cover for goalkeeper is terrible. Compared to relative strength of, for example, Chelsea's squad I'm not sure ours I strongest.
You can't go into a season with one world class but injury prone striker with an unproven youth and a striker who hasn't settled. Left back was obvious area of improvement and wasn't done. Not sure when we look at our "2nd" players for certain positions eg Fernando, Caballero, even Bony they are anything other than mid table players. I think best eleven easily but best squad is open to question. Personally think with amount we have spent it shouldn't be!!

OT If you take away Kompany, Hart, Silva, Toure and Aguero (pretty much), there is very few, if any teams in the world that could roll up to White Hart Lane and come away with a result. These players are the spine of the team, arguably the best in the world in their respective positions and ARE USED TO PLAYING WITH EACH OTHER, WEEK IN, WEEK OUT.

Their replacements are pretty good players who are NOT USED TO PLAYING WITH EACH OTHER.

How Pellegrini comes into this, I have no idea.

I've questioned him in the past and no doubt I will again, but so far this season, I can probably only blame him for Juve.

Agree completely. It's not rocket science.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Are we that type of fans already?

The club IS BEHIND THE MANAGER. They gave him a new contract and he has all the support in the world. Remember the autumn we had the last year we won the title? Remember we were winless until that game at WBA when we won 3-2? Pellers must and will have a full season and after that, we can bring Klopp, Ancelotti or Guardiola, but he must finish this year.

And our season bad form started after Dave got injured and we had that idiotic international break. We have that bad form every year after that gap.

Not sure how we are necessarily so weak at the back, at least in terms of our defenders.

We have 4 centre-halves and full backs that would start for many good clubs, and 2 of whom are arguably or close to world class according to quite a few (Vinnie, Otamendi), which is more than most teams have.

Willy is a weak link, sure, and our defenders have been prone to errors, but I think it may be other issues in central midfield, tactics, and players' attitudes that lead our defence to be so vulnerable to counter attacks in particular. We were doing well with the offside trap to start the season, and the first Spurs goal should have never been allowed, but we have looked more porous for the past few games for some reason compared to the first 5. Is that due to quality or something else?

I think we forget just how strong a squad we have. Even though we have injuries we will be playing a team on Wednesday that in total cost less than Kevin de Brune.Anyone who thinks the manager deserves understanding if a team of Hart, Sagna, Demichellis, Otamendi, Kolarov, Fernando, Fernandino, Nasri, de Bruyne, Aguero and Sterling, total value £250 million, cant beat a team costing around £50 million is missing the point. We should win comfortably.

I think it is worth looking at the players Pellegrini has brought in. It is a grim list for daft money. His obsession with a player as bad as Navas is also a concern.
