a minority? You're like a circus sideshow freak with flippers for arms and a candle growing out of his head with that admission.

Given that choice I'd have to choose.......... Flop.

I'd like to see a direct swap .... Maureen to Liverpool and Brenda to Chelsea.
That would fcuk up both of them.

Whichever way he goes, if he comes to the PL, it'll be a little more interesting. Fuck, he might even divert the spotlight away from Maureen, and he won't like that.

I am amazed, i was sure he was rooting for the Bayern job. Perhaps the rumours coming out today that Pep is coming to City next season are meant to make Juergen rethink ?

Very interesting. This is like a game of chess that is so delightfully yet frustratingly complex that it calls for temporary abandonment in the hope that some fresh perspective might break the stalemate.

So Pellers is potentially more of a major player in this protracted game than is realised. Here is why.

By Pellers exceeding expectations this season, it makes the case for replacing him with Pep more difficult, as Klopp was presumably waiting to be Pep's successor at Bayern.
Thus making Klopp's options more limited - either take on the formidable challenge that is Scouse2, or wait for a SerieA post as earlier suggested, that may never materialise.
Yet the media try to play both Pellers and Klopp in an attempt to preserve the "old boys club" that is Rags, Arse and Scouse2 by suggesting that Pep is definitely coming to City.

Notwithstanding Klopp's reputation, we would do well to hope that he does not succeed, because it would mean further opening up the floodgates to more board players, and effectively diverting negative attention away from us and Chelsea, to a degree, as the designated "upstarts" to the closeknit club.

This is why Brenda's exit was not ideal, but Klopp's failure would aid our cause.
If Pellers and City succeed, we would be ruining football yet again ;)

I don't believe that for a second.
If Pep is available and wants to come next season, Txixi/Sorran/Sheikh/Khaldoon WILL sign him even if Pelle wins treble IMO.

The fact that pellers was only given a single year contract extension was IMO a goodwill gesture by the club. Pellers knows he will get a golden handshake at the end of this season if pep becomes available no matter what he achieves this season.

Why would he prefer them to us unless he is a history junkie? There is little difference in spending power nowadays, Pep's own reputation would ensure he could sign the best players, he would be working for decent owners and with a group of people who share his approach, added to which he would be more able to create his own legend rather than being compared to a miserable Scot's record.

The only reason i think he might prefer the Rags is that he's been there and done that with Cheeky and his crew. New challenges at Bayern. Check. If he wins the CL with Bayern this season I can almost guarantee he would prefer to do the same with City. He's chasing Mourinho's legacy down in my mind and he will have to have a serious evaluation about who is best suited to win the CL in England over the next 3 years and surely that would be us.

If the Count were to pull off a CL miracle it might dissuade Pep. Tho he walked right into Munchen on the back of CL success they had. In thinking that wasn't the best start.
