Not at all. I'd compare him to Cazorla, personally.

thats a good one but Santi scores more.

i might compare him to Modric. control the play for your team from midfield but doesnt really show up with the obvious stats (assists & goals).

boy that was cute of you. manipulating something unrelated (that was about the trio all leaving) to make your point and excluding the thing that contradicts your point.

Oh and then there's Weigl too, he's attracting a lot of interest.

Im certain Gundogan will leave.

i don't think the Sanchez "rumour" is even that. It's just clickbait paper bollox. I haven't read anything credible that linked us with him for realz.

Anyway.

You said it, if you had been more specific in the first place I wouldn't be assuming that your "clarification" was just back tracking.

He's technically better and more creative than De Jong ever was. He's not a traditional holding midfield player in the same sense. I'd say he's more similar to Fernandinho in that he works hard with and without the ball. I think he's probably a better passer, but perhaps not quite as strong.

Ok a Nige de Jong with bells on , that will do just fine !

Haha. I don't think he's quite the cracking tackler that Nige was, but when fit will be a welcome addition to our midfield.

You said it, if you had been more specific in the first place I wouldn't be assuming that your "clarification" was just back tracking.

if i said we're buying Ter Stegen, Pogba, and Messi and you said "no we're not" I, and pretty much everyone else, would take that to mean that you disagree that we're buying that trio. thats what "and" means; it groups a list of things together and makes said group an item in its own right. now if they had said "or" then you'd have a point.

If I believed we were buying one of the three then I would say it. I wouldn't say there's no point in speculating if I believed one of them was signing because that would be rather stupid now wouldn't it?

Too much money.

Class, but not someone we can trust. Maybe the club knows something we don”t.

I hope.

After spending 150 mil (more or less) for Mangala, Otter, Sterling and Bony, I really fear at every single transfer.

The thing is, I really like the fucker, he is the German/turkish Iniesta. The reason, alongside, Lewandowski, why Dortmund played the Champions league final in 2014. Still, I am glad he played around 28 league games this season.

To be fair to him, he's played 157 times for Dortmund in 5 years and one of them seasons was completely written off due to his back injury, so really 154 times in 4 years or 38 games a season.

Like the player outstanding when playing for Dortmund. How can a player with a dislocated knee get a move. Has football changed so much from back in the day. Have medicals since been dispatched at City, when, Real Madrid or Barca/Bayern sign a player we see enter a medical facility, pics of them them hooked up to machines and looking like everything is being checked. I am not for signing him BTW it just seems we buy players in a arse about way at times. The premier league is no place for getting your fitness on the job..... We have seen that all season with Silva.

OK, you have a point, but tbf, with the exception of Bony I think all our signings in the last couple of years could turn out well under new management. Especially when supported by a guy like Gundogan (who I know little about btw, although I'm liking what I read on here and elsewhere).
