Otamendi seems to be loving the Pep style of play.
Long may it continue and, at this rate, we might not see much of Kompany this season.
Have my doubts whether he will even be here in February
Have you heard anything NB, as to when Kompany might be fit to play ??
That might give some clues as to what his future might, or might not, be with us.

Reckon he will be fit in a week or so. Just have a feeling he will be surplus to requirements sooner rather than later

This is what I heard too. Allowed to train but not play until they sort the bloods out.

That sounds just a little bit worrying WW.
Hope it's not anything more sinister.

He still has toxic in his blood apparently so won't be risked until it's sorted.

Isn't this to do with the enzyme marker for fitness that's been mentioned on here recently? It's apparently an indicator of how a player is recovering from injury and what level his fitness is at. I'm assuming it's nothing sinister.
Muscle tissue may be damaged following intense prolonged training as a consequence of both metabolic and mechanical factors. Serum levels of skeletal muscle enzymes or proteins are markers of the functional status of muscle tissue, and vary widely in both pathological and physiological conditions. Creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, aldolase, myoglobin, troponin, aspartate aminotransferase, and carbonic anhydrase CAIII are the most useful serum markers of muscle injury, but apoptosis in muscle tissues subsequent to strenuous exercise may be also triggered by increased oxidative stress. Therefore, total antioxidant status can be used to evaluate the level of stress in muscle by other markers, such as thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances, malondialdehyde, sulfhydril groups, reduced glutathione, oxidized glutathione, superoxide dismutase, catalase and others. As the various markers provide a composite picture of muscle status, we recommend using more than one to provide a better estimation of muscle stress.

I think Gringo T might be able to beat that.
I hear he picked it up before he was even conceived.
