I find it odd that nolito is not starting. Gritty and great at linking up and getting on the end. Sane on the other hand is neither.

Has Nacho really shown himself to get in the team of late? I don't think so.

We have sped down the wings and creativity uptop, but serious lack of pace in defense and in the middle (right where Arsenal thrive).

Lineup doesn't inspire confidence but I'm watching the game at a arse fans house so time to put on a brace face.

Come on City!!!

How long was Pellegrini with us?

How was his record against other top 6 sides?

He did 3 seasons but I'm not sure what his record was. I seem to think it was pretty poor over the last couple of years as the squad was weakening.

Following that logic, Sheikh Mansour should sack Khaldoon.

-He fails to see the piss poor job the spafia have been doing for four years and they still have a job.
-He spent a fuckton of cash getting Pep here, when obviously according to you the manager is irrelevant to actual results.

Only those invested in this Game of Retards can't see the big picture. We were screwed by FFP and it's taking some time to recover from that. Remember when they said any player signed before FFP kicked in was exempt from the P/L? Remember when they changed that rules after 18 months to make sure we fell foul of their FFP regulations? Ambiguity in the wording allowed them to change the interpretation, sadly at this point I think Khaldoon actually thought we were on a level playing field at the time.

And as for weaker, you should look at the 2012 squad to the one we have now.

Well he is the owner why shouldn't he get rid of khaldoon , all of the wastage has taken place under his watch ?

Well he does seem to be immune to criticism. And as none of us, NONE OF US know how much say the manager has in transfer targets, then I doubt anyone else can truly be held responsible from our perspective.

The only time I sensed the manager wasn't being backed by the club, that the managers' targets weren't being pursued was the season we bought Sinclair, Rodwell, etc. And that seemed like Bobby was having a tantrum and buying players who were obviously never going to be good enough out of spite.

I hate this line up.
If Nacho cannot start AT HOME against a top team then he might as well just tell pep he wants a transfer.

Shit line up IMO , no Nolito ?..FFS !!
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

This could get very messy today. I am extremely concerned by this selection.

Why do you think its a back 3? It could be a traditional back 4

I thought in Pellegrini's first season we beat them with a glut of goals?

Yes 6-3 in december 2014. He won the league that season....with mancinis side apparently.

Hah. I'm going to watch it with an Arsenal fan as well, yet at a bar in Williamsburg. Will certainly be more Arsenal fans there as they are more popular in the States at this point.
