Going by the thread title, his transfer completion is surely down to Lady Fortuna.

It seems his move is going to go through soon.
Surely we will ratchet up our pursuit of another striker now, we will need another one.

ever closer ... like Achilles and the tortoise
if this happens either Sanchez, Mbappe or Neymar is nailed on (or possibly any combination of them)

We're trying to improve mate, not buy shitty players from shitty no-mark clubs.

50 mill buy back, its possible it could happen, albeit unlikely. The best of luck to him.

19 shots on target 12 goals means its good business from city to put the buy back in place - it's there if we need it and it's also an incentive for the player who I'm sure has a real affection for City.

my first thought was that a 50m buy back clause is ridiculous and Leicester clearly won that negotiation but if we decide to utilize that buyback clause--and thus deem him worthy of being a 50m purchase--we're actually only buying a 25m player from Leicester so thats not too bad.

That's not bad in the current market. If he becomes the dogs dangkies in the next few years that'd be a snip if the Rags keep inflating the market.
