1-1 and it has been coming.
Ireland can't put 3 passes together.
We are absolute muck so far.

Just be glad you're not playing England IWT; we'd drag you down to our level.

I hate saying it MC as in my younger days I used to go to the Ireland games and always supported them, but we just don't play football.
It baffles me how we are doing as well as we are. We have spirit in abundance but the football is worse than anything I ever witnessed under Charlton or McCarthy or Staunton or Kerr.

Part of me would not be displeased for us not to qualify for Russia as we will be embarrassed and our supporters would go over expecting a nice friendly atmosphere like they experienced in France and would end up getting battered by the same Russian mob that targeted your lot there.

Terrible goalkeeping.

That'll do nicely.

Harsh on the keeper, that was assault.

Agree with everything else you've said, it's depressing getting a schooling from Georgia.

Replay showed the keeper was fouled.
Even more depressing.

How the fuck can anyone watch England in the qualifiers ?? its the same fuckign type of group every 4 years...if its not Malta its Gibraltar or some other fuckign shit shite shit team which we nearly always beat and then get our arse kicked by the first real team we face in the actual WC.

Also , the manager is always fuckign useless , it doesnt matter who the cunt is....hes invariably fucking useless.

I don't even watch them anymore.....gave that up a few years ago.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I know.
And we're the equivalent of every 11 behind the ball football stopper shithouses that we complain about week in week out.
Hoping for a mistake at the other end rather than a breakaway goal which requires something resembling football skill, to do a smash and grab.

Maybe, just maybe Georgia are tiring a little.
Still hope for a smash and grab.

Like the transfer window.....
Thank fuck that's over.

Worst I've seen in years for over an hour.
We then created a few chances and could have stolen it. But we really haven't the class to put away half chances.

I do think that's a big problem with England.
You have decent players to pick from but there is a clique that exists as we know.
The most visible manifestation of this as City fans is the fact that most your support are more interested in declaring how shite an opposition teams player is.
Stones
Sterling
Walker. All of whom used to be great but aren't anymore.

Generally though as partisan club football supporters you all declare how shite all the other clubs players are playing.

We in Ireland start with the knowledge that they're all shite (no disputing it) and hope and pray that together they won't be quite so shite.
Regardless of the crap we are watching we get behind those dishing it out.
I appreciate our expectations are a lot lower and there are a lot of problems with the whole FA set up, that rankle with you.

But in England club football comes first and foremost for the majority, whereas in Ireland we don't have the same domestic standard to compete with our affiliations.
We collectively get behind whatever represents us in a green jersey.

I suppose we can't shake off an inferiority complex. We do like being the underdog.

It's a pity we couldn't have signed him for £23m......the Spafia at their best. They really are the Wilfried Bony equivalents of transfer management.

Yeah, imagine losing out to Real Madrid in a chase for a player's signature, that's just embarrassing.

Not really all about City either is it. Sign every player linked and we'd have more players than fans.

Apparently the deal was done but those wankers argued about a mill or two whilst Isco set the world alight in the u21s tournament. Ameteur is not the word. To be fair to them though, they did sign Delph, Bravo, Mangala, Gundo etc etc etc etc
