They are without doubt the most horrible fans (Stoke) close 2nd. We have the players to run them ragged every player needs to know their job, no fuck ups and we'll get through.

They are despicable. I got into it with a plastic (Hampshire born and bred...lol) on a cruise last year. Wiped the floor with him and he avoided me for the rest of what was a crap cruise. History...I love that argument. 1964...the first FA Cup final...that's deep that history. We'd been in 5 by then...used to be a big trophy to win!

But yes, worst fans IMHO. I've come to hate them more than The Rags and that takes some doing. Let them have their flares and flags. I prefer our football.

As ever, I'm just hoping for good and impartial refereeing.

We'll do the rest. Come on city :)

This is my concern. We've seen time and time again how the referee can affect a game, and it's usually in favour of their preferred team. Barca v Arsenal, Chelsea v Barca, there's numerous ones to look at to see how the powers that be have already set the outcome.

Are the Dippers a big pull to them anymore though, I'm not to sure.

Oh, and now watching SSN and they're pitching our game, for the Dippers. Klopp's speaks and they show the four goals. Pep speaks and they fail to show ours, or even mention how close it was in the end. And what about the first game, and I get that it may have been on BT, but not even a mention?

Clear to see the media bias, let's just hope we play at our best. The rest should follow.

My bet would be Henderson.

He has it in him. I can't even stand the look of him. Or the way he walks. Or talks.

I think the pressure must be really getting to the Dippers and their media sychophants. The amount of coverage they are getting and the way their fans are acting reminds me of a show of bravado, knowing that they are an inferior team but hoping with all the hype, it will change the game.

I'm so glad to see us keeping our heads down and just getting on with our preparation. No hype, no bluster, just working hard behind the scenes to ensure we give it our best.

Save the talk for after the 180 minutes, that's when we should be having our say and, as we know, it will be gracious and humble, regardless of the result.

I really think we are going to be deadly tonight. Knowing Pepinho, that only loss, 4-3, made him really mad, so I think we are going to be fucking spectacular tonight.

1-3.

I'm of a similar opinion that the previous game needs to be redressed. Pep would've been furious at that 10 minute spell and it would've taught him a lot going up against them again.

The talk is all about these huge European nights at Anfield but when you look at our team, apart from Sterling I think none of them actually give a fuck about Liverpool. Yes, they've done well historically in the CL but apart from 2005 the majority weren't even alive when they did anything. Even the 2005 season was forever away for our front 3, Jesus was about 9 years old!

This is more of a PL game and that history lies with us. Our players know they are the better team, the league proves it, and they'll have every confidence, with the addition of our club Captain, and Big Dave, the player of the decade for me, to make amends.

Strange though, Sky don't usually push the CL games, hardly even reporting on the scores, yet when the Dippers get to the quarters, against us, they are in overdrive.

Hopefully a less bias build-up tomorrow night from BT, the ones who actually own the rights to televise it.

pat nevin on 5live last night said that the atmosphere would benefit our lot. all the pressure will be on the dippers and our boys will want to go out there and show the world how good we are.

That's crossed my mind too. None of their team, well not many, are particularly used to noisy match atmospheres and big Eurooean games. It could easily be that is Liverpool that freeze and get phased by this game rather than us.

Anybody worried about this stat which the media keep spouting, that Klopp has the beating of Pep with 5 wins? Thought I'd have a look to see how it went.

2013/14

Four games this season. First meeting was in the German Super cup which Klopp won 4-2. In the league Pep won away 3-0, lost at home 3-0 before playing them again in the League Cup Final where Pep won 2-0.

That's the stats but what context? Well, the games that Pep lost were actually irrelevant games. The Super Cup is the equivalent of our Community Shield and the 3-0 loss at home was sandwiched between them playing the Rags in the CL, which they had to win, and a League Cup game where they went on to beat Dortmund in the final. Oh, and Pep had already won the league by time they played them.

So, Pep wins the league, the LC and gets to the semi-final of the CL, being knocked out by Real who, beat Dortmund in the previous round. He also gets the UEFA Super up, but eh. Klopp's wins the Charity Shield.

2014/15

Starts with Klopp beating Pep again in the Community Shield 2-0 before Pep goes on to beat him in both league games, 2-1 and 0-1. Klopp gets his own back with a penalty shoot out in the LC semi final but went on to lose the final against Wolfsburg. Klopp moves to the Premium.

Context. Self-explanatory.

2016/17

Only 2 games, in the Prem. Klopp wins the first 1-0 and we draw at home 1-1.

Context. Self-explanatory.

2917-18

2 games again, 5-0 and 4-3.

Context. Self-explanatory.

So, looking at it, the star of 5 games is correct but none of the media seem to give any context, just throw it out there but when you look a little deeper it shows that in real competitive games then it's much more even with Pep actually coming out on top with 5 games to 3.

Random bollox, I know, but one worth pointing out.
