One thing I’ve taken from tonight is Chelsea can’t play without Hazard and Kante. You could add Luis to that as well.
They were pure muck before they came on.
Also Liverpool’s strength in depth isn’t there.
They were alright until they came up against Chelsea’s 1st team and then capitulated.
They had to put Salah and Firminho on but it was too much for them.

Not saying we’ll beat them but it does auger well for the course of the season.

I think we are the only team with a squad you can rotate. The other two have definite first elevens.

What puzzled me was why there was VAR for the first Chelsea goal but not for the Dippers. It looked like there was a chance of Sturridge being offside but not a dickybird from the reviewers.

It maybe just a stumble by the Dippers but that now plants doubt, which is always a good thing.
