No, I think we will look to rest them against Burnley

We will go full strength next two league games to consolidate second and then concentrate on the two cups

I doubt Pep will take any chances with Kevin. Realistically the Madrid match is far more important.

There is one, either yesterday or today, asking if the rags are back and challenging for supremacy again.

Even rags will be surprised by this I suspect

If it’s Sky binging these stories up then expect an unwelcome officiating performance today. We’ll have to be 50% better than them just to offset the ref.

Calling Harry Dowd! Is it now the time to turn this into the match thread, only 35 minutes for the team announcement?

Not sure about the rags though.

Yep, and what is pissing me off is the BBC commentators saying 5th is a champions league position due to our ban.

Because it is....

No it’s not. Literally a story the other day to say that until CAS make their decision City can ask to be allowed to play in next season Champions League, and it would likely have to be granted.

I’ve not heard or seen an official “this season 5th is a Champions League place” anywhere, unless I’m missing something?

Have I missed the announcement that the ban has been suspended? If not, then the ban is active until CAS suspends or overturns.
