good choice

(turning over the barcodes tonight - 3-0 and counting)
Great game for the Seagulls. Watching them tonight vs the Barcodes, was like watching "Pep'uesque" positive free flowing fotball (and their defence reminded me of ours). T'Was a very nice game to watch actually.

This. FFS. Fat Sam, 'Arry .......WTF?
Cloughie of course. We got couple of his quotes in our refrigerator to remind everyone in our family about the realities of the game.
Sir Bobby. True gentleman but also way ahead of his time with lot of tactical and training ground stuff.
Ottmar Hitzfeld. Some of the tactical things this guy invented was just revolutionery.
Rinus Michels. This guy basically invented modern way to play the game on his own.
Arrigo Sacchi. Those who saw his teams play.... how can you not like the man?
Tele Santana. Mister Joga Bonito himself.
Then there's Bielsa. I don't know what to think of him. Some of his training ground stuff is just engaging. If he wasn't a manager he'd be locked away one way or another.
And then you mention Hitzfeld - a guy that’s criticised City regarding money.
He hasn't been in active club management for decade or so! Who actually asks him an opinion?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I have to admit to liking the fat waiter, can't help it after his 'facts' rant when he imploded almost as spectacularly as Keegan. But he was right, and he had the bollocks to say it - I just wish, even though it was with the dippers, he could have used that energy to knock them rag cunts off their perch that year.
But my favourite, and surprised nobody hasn't mentioned it so far - worth a laugh for a Sunday

“I suspect that Pep will leave Bayern, because Manchester City continue turning up with the money,”
“Ottmar Hitzfeld has said Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was wrong to play Leroy Sane in the Community Shield”

I remember Clough back in the day always used to make me laugh with his soundbites. Admire the managers who went abroad to learn rheir craft and were successful Robson, Hodgson and Venables. Perhaps the last two are controversial but they had the balls to leave to learn their craft and see how others were doing things differently in europe
Neville, Scholes and Giggs need to get together and form a dream team at the swamp once the fans are allowed back in as they will rapidly lose patience with the hobbit

They rapidly lose patience with all their managers looking at their record at Salford.
Sacked the last guy just after winning them their 1st trophy.

Not doubting what you say about their tenure at Salford. My point , badly made perhaps, was that the hobbit will find it difficult once the natives ate allowed back in as they won't tolerate the turgid fayre he dishes up and that Neville, Giggs and Scholes should replace him

Whose a fucking Chav? I know a fair few lads and girls who have season tkts at Salford and who also go home and away with City. Bit of a tribal thing with Salfird in general all following Salford rugby and football regardless of being red or blue. That said, you'd never see me giving my money to rhe footy team whilst owned in part by those goons

I was referring to the fact they swap managers as often as The chavs hence the Roman Neville inference

Liked all the old managers, Charlton, Robson, Clough etc etc.
Most of them spoke their mind, none of this politically correct rubbish we hear today.

Very decent at Leeds.
They were a nothing club when he took over. Turned them into a very resolute but ultimately fairly dour but successful team. Not unlike Mourinho you could say.
Poor for England though
