Trying to confirm it was a penalty, but it wasn’t. Even Keown changed his mind once he realised VAR wasn’t giving it.

It was a good tackle and contrary to Keown belief, he did get the ball. But the Arsenal player was going nowhere and thus in the penalty area it was unnecessary. He was borrowing trouble

Exactly my sentiment. He could've just shielded the ball and cut off the angle.
