Must be that they are trained really well.

In previous seasons Klopp has put the kids out for both cups, so senior players like Salah and Mane get rested then. Pep wants to win everything so he usually plays senior players every single game.

Edit: Both Mane and Salah should be observing Ramadan though so hopefully that will play a part in their performance.

Lowest priority now unfortunately. I think it's nailed on that Sterling and Jesus start. I doubt even Pep will know how the rest will line up yet. Keeps Klopp guessing at least.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Id still want to play the best 11. Momentum and adrenaline will get them through its semi final of a cup. Barely training these days and our players are used to playing every 3 days. Hope we dont see a repeat of last years semi. We dont have a great record in fa cup semis
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are correct and some are saying he is playing the old contract renewal game, apparently his agent and dippers are in dispute about his new contract in terms of renumeration and length of time contract runs for. Not sure about this, but he has not been playing well since AFCON

We could be in proper brainfart territory in this semi - who knows really.

I saw Delap on the pitch after the Atletico game. Not sure if he is fit though
But if Pep concludes that we are a bit fucked then he might start to think about surprises.
One could be to play Delap as a CF and have an extra bod near to or with Rodri.

I doubt this as we probably have never trained to do this, so it would be an on the fly experiment.

Anyway just a thought, more likely with Dias back he will just patch up a side as best he can.

Didn’t this kind of overthinking cost us the semi in the cup and CL final against the Chavs, just play strongest fittest team available

Well exactly.
i dont think he will dick around, he's most likley to just put the strongest team out, but i could see how he might, if he decided we are weak and he has nothing to lose by trying a curve ball.

Lawrenson has predicted (hoping for) a 2-1 dipper win, because they will be fresher, I bet they will be

Kevin and Kyle didn’t train today so virtually no chance of either playing tomorrow. He didn’t give anything away about length of recovery for either. Ruben did train today and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him play a part at least. We desperately need fresh legs. Sterling, Jesus and Ake look likely starters imo. Bernardo could do with a rest tbh. I except Gundogan to start.

Kyle had a’big twist’ but it’s getting better. Could be out for a couple of weeks I suspect so first leg against Real Madrid looks doubtful.

Kevin has stitches on his calf. Doesn’t sound like a long term injury. Not muscular.

Tomorrow is the day he needs to announce his arrival.........

Then maybe the £100m label might be talked about in a positive light .

It's got to happen sooner or later, why not do a Mario and make Tomorrow all about him winning it for us.
