Ref is the one that did the AM home leg this season in the CL, one nil win, he's Romania as his assistants, could be worse? VAR team are both German.
Edit complete officials data from City Xtra:
"Match Referee:
István Kovács will take charge of Manchester City for a third time this season, after the Romanian was named as the referee for Tuesday's semi-final first-leg against Real Madrid.

Kovács, who was in the middle for City's 1-0 first-leg win over Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals, had previously refereed the Blues in October, when Guardiola's side beat Club Brugge 5-1.

The 37 year-old has taken charge of 33 matches so far this season, showing 169 yellow cards and eight red cards.

Assistant Referees:
Kovács will be accompanied by Romanian Assistant Referees Vasile Florin Marinescu and Ovidiu Artene - both of whom were alongside the referee during the first-leg against Atletico Madrid earlier this month.

Video Assistant Referees:
UEFA have named German referee Marco Fritz as the Video Assistant Referee for Tuesday's Semi-Final clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The 44 year-old Bundesliga official will be joined by Assistant Video Assistant Referee Bastian Dankert at UEFA's VAR hub in Nyon, Switzerland.

Fourth Official:
Artur Dias has been appointed as Fourth Official for Tuesday's Champions League tie, with the Portuguese referee overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of managers Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti. "

Just realised I’m in Hull for the next 3 days so I’ll be watching this in a pub there. Hopefully they’re more welcoming than the twats in Leeds that we’re cheering on West Ham when we played them in the Cup and I had to watch it in a pub over there.

We are undoubtedly the better team. Unfortunately as we have seen in the past against the establishment of old G14 clubs the goalposts move for us. The grit that we showed in Madrid will do us no harm here. Im expecting us to win both games- won't be easy with a bit of a makedhift defence but we are more than capable of putting the tie away ronight

Open training for the cameras and UEFA protocol yesterday . Pep and MCFC very rarely give anything away in them situations . Pep was pretty positive last friday about Walker possibly starting tonight let’s see later .

As you say he gives nothing away. I'll stick my neck out and say no chance, unless his ankle heals remarkably from that twist for a man of his age

Are we to read anything into Sterling being at the presser? I mean he won’t be in the starting eleven will he?

Pep did the same for AM selecting Ferny to speak with him, who wasn't starting, I think he's trying to show the unity in the squad?

(Unfortunately Ferny, didn't follow the script and used the opportunity to say he was unhappy with his game time and planned to leave, not what a club captain should be doing. At least Sterling says the right thing.)

He could play him at right back. He did it with Navas.

All said and done Real Madrid are an ageing team , Kroos and Modric both in there mid thirties pulling the strings in midfield, experience yes legs no neither could cope with a season in PL anymore. Benzema still class in certain situations but La Liga has become a joke in recent years . Patience and tempo key to City doing the job tonight, Real will tire last 25 mins or so

Since Sterling was at the Presser I do expect him to start. Not impossible he plays at RB.
