Notts has got it. Paddy Roberts actually had one game for us.

As did Zuculini. Came on as a sub in the Charity Shield:

It must be Richard Wright, because it's none of the others.
Come to think of it, I don't remember him ever playing a first team game.

Edit: I missed Notts' answer.

Sorry JC, I saw the post where Rodney Rodney says notts has got it and then saw your post and assumed it was Notts.

Richard Wright I believe. Roberts and Zucculini have both played a first team game, so Wrightys the only one left.

Although Rodney Rodney who set the question seems to think it's Zucculini, but he can't be as he definitely played in the CS against Arsenal

Zuculini came on for Yaya in the 60th min against Arsenal in the charity shield 2014.

No league games, if you're looking at the box at the top.

Wright is the only candidate on that photo. Since Googling is now allowed it confirms that since Rodney Rodney wanted someone who never played for our 1st XI the Charity Shield sub clearly counts, Here is Bruno's 60th min sub for Yaya https://www.mancity.com/citytv/match-hi ... highlights

Charity Shield should only be regarded as a competitive game if and when it is won by
a) Liverpool
b) Manchester United.

Whilst that is very true, you only stated City 1st XI, nothing about it being a competitive match
