Ederson- lots of rumours and his reaction to being subbed at spurs was MENTAL. Does he not like competition? Threatened?

Imo we need both ederson and oregano.

I think the Spurs meltdown was because he knew he'd be leaving and wanted his farewell appearance last game at home to West Ham but knew he wouldn't be able to play if he went off with concussion

Just had a thought... did nunes play ANY minutes for Portugal? Barely if any. He should be chomping at the bit to impress and cut his break short..

Always think there's a 'test' to see how much they want to be a part of it.
Phillips failed it when he took a break after the World Cup. It's just something a manager might be looking at.

Remember when we had Arsenal away opening day and Walker rocked up after said 'I want to play.'?

It sets the tone.

Thought that this morning. Nunes should be with the squad telling Pep, “this is my season”. We knew what kind of attitude he had through when he spat his dummy out at Wolves and refused to train.

Agree on both Nunes and Phillips. Both had fuck all to do over the summer and if they had anything about them would have both come back Ireland like after training all summer. Both need to moven on

Nunes did go to and appear in the Euros, whether that constitutes doing something or not is moot but he wasn't on holiday like Erling, Jack, Oscar & Kalvin.

He literally went to the Euros and had a holiday. 15 minutes playing time over 3 weeks isn’t a job. If he had anything about him he’d have been back raring to go. But we know he’s not got what it takes because of how he left Wolves.

Not being there at the start I understood, but taking the full break when you’ve done fuck all for club our country in a year is mental. You’ll earn enough to holiday for life by the time you’re done, take a week or two out and get your place in the team.
Tracking back is overrated.
