We won it in spite of him that season and he was miles behind the worst rag team ever the next. Pellegrini was as bad. Pep's given us the best 7 years of my football life and that includes 2024

Just as an aside Stupot, how bad does it get before we can discuss this in your humble opinion?
15 games with 1 win?
20 games with 2 wins?
Finishing the season 12th?

At what point do we consider changing?

I've already said he could have lost the dressing room and something is very wrong. I'd let him try and get a couple of replacements in Jan, we'll have Oscar Bobb back soon. If things don't improve then I'm pretty sure he'll go at the end of season.

That’s not answering the question is it

We
Know he’s lost the dressing room and we also know he’s gong to try and get some players in in January , we know OB is coming back one day next year .

The question to you was at what point do we consider changing the manager if it’s , for example , 1 win in 15 or 20 games with 2 wins .

Give it a go !

At the end of the season after backing him in Jan.

I can count 10 players at a minimum who play / played shit and some have fucked off to pastures new...all this fuckign bullshit how he improves all the players is a total fuckign myth.

Hes 100% lost the dressing room.

He might have lost the dressing room, something isn't right but what's not a myth is everything in the last 7 years. Multiple 1sts in football. Trouble is people would rather talk 10 weeks as opposed to 7 years.
There might be people on here want him gone, I've not heard one person at the games who are calling for him to go. I guarantee that any new manager coming in will have you slagging them off the 1st game they don't win.

All behaving like Gen-Zs Stu Some are ingrates. Calling for the most successful manager at City to be chopped.

Clearly it is not what we like. However now support is needed.

How the living fuck can you support the manager who won’t drop Gundo , begrudgingly dropped Walker (til later in ) won’t play the McAtees of the world , won’t set us up any different .

GAME AFTER GAME AFTER GAME ???

If you want to carry on supporting that with a little shake of the head and a tut tut here and there then carry on mate .

I won’t , l will do what most on here have done , and strongly condemn the way he’s been managing us .

Carl , for a long time now I have felt that it all started going wrong with Gündos automatic choice in midfield. He is out of his depth now. He is , this time around working with shoddy material ( Doku, Foden, Jack ).

He bought jack and Doku and has not improved any of them - in fact , Jack has gone backwards and Doku has no idea what to do with the ball when he’s got past his player - he juts hits it.

You’d think that the penny would have dropped a long time ago with regards jack and he would have moved him into his preferred position.

I just do not understand it.

^^^^^^,

Perhaps with some players it is the "Peter's Principle" in effect.

Doku looks great against poor teams , but PL defences are packed and very difficult to get through.

Doku doesn't help himself or the team by constantly stopping the ball dead and expecting to round a player from standing still. Whilst he may be able to do that, those precious seconds where the ball is stopped enables defences to get themselves sorted and to cover any unmarked player. This seems to be the way we have forced Savio to play too, last season he was playing free flow football on both wings , didn't matter.

I don't believe he has lost the players. This team is shot to pieces. No legs, pace or energy.
Got away with it last season, but its finally caught up with them.

"Don't shoot, Vinnie, don't shoot" remember?
We simply don't know how shoot, or maybe players are not allowed to shoot. Doku and Grealish as wingers are extremly predictable in most of occasions you will know how that play will end.
And I don't think that is a coincidence.

But again, this is worked and brought us silverware. We need to focus and understand why did it stop.

We're in from 9/1 to 15/2 for relegation with the bookies. While our current form is relegation bound for sure, the odds of being relegated by not getting enough points are extremely unlikely. I hope there's not something coming where the court case has gone poorly - is it possible this is related to the drop off in form, maybe just one element of it?

Although Chelsea are 25/1 to be relegated which is nuts. Is there some case goingon with them also?
