Imagine if we’d stumbled into the final? They’d have smashed us at least 8-0. They play on the break so so well, our Achilles would be exposed time and time again.

Well, had we have beaten them in Paris, They would not have qualified for the latter rounds - being only on 10 points. As it would have been their fourth loss.

the City team that finished the season was much more in form than the one that gave up the ghost in Paris. So it may not have been a thrashing.

I think they are just behind our version of 2022-2023. They play more direct tikitaka and are faster, but they almost capitulated vs Aston Villa, while in our treble year, we were a monster in the knockouts.
What they did a million times better than us was play the final. They played the same football, while Pep overcomplicated things in Istanbul also, like he did in Porto.
But overall, biased me would say were better. Not sure if I am right, though.

Was blown away by one of the best winners of the past decade, yeah, after reaching the final with a team of rejects. Twice.[/quote
And lost the league to a team with McTominay]

They looked a solid group last night. From the owner to the staff. Enrique has all he needs in Paris at the moment. Never say never! Your a betting man what would be the odds of us getting a Qatar golden boy?

Because I know you love stats so much: McTominay had 13 goals and 6 assists and was a key part of Napoli's season, a team with fewer games because they didn't play in Europe.
