Didn't Bosnia just become member of Schengen countries yesterday? So I think I read from the papers. BiB can maybe confirm this. He wouldn't need visa anymore. He'd need work permit though but I think he would automatically qualify anyway.

Nope. Bosnian citizens don't require a visa to travel to Schengen countries, since a month ago (I'm pretty sure it was 6th December), but Bosnia isn't part of the Schengen zone itself. However, because Britain isn't signed up to the Schengen agreement, this is irrelevant, apart from the possibility that there's been a mix-up on someone's part about his requirement for a visa to enter the UK.
