The thing that worries me is that other teams like Cheski, scum, etc have had there bad patch and are still there we seem to be going through our bad patch now. the problem we have is we have a good players out Aj 3 months MR who knows now and Mario we injured more than on the pitch. We have no pace at the moment and a keeper who seems to have lost confidence, we are leaking goals for fun, Tevez is worrying me yes he scored but he wants to do it all by himself and I don't know why. If we are not careful we will loose 4th spot come the end of the season......Tonight was woeful to watch please Bobby Manc sort it out.

Mancini's unbridled arrogance is out of control. he's really taking the piss with the roster, the team selection and his attention to detail in Cup competitions. It's coming back to haunt us.

Do we need a Joe Hart gaffe for say 4 matches in a row before we do something? I'm sorry, some won't agree, but he should be stopping that first goal every day of the week.

not happy.

Glad there are people who actually watch the game and not other fucking deluded gits that dont...it was a ridiculous goal to concede...granted the defence were shite but the ball went straight down the middle and Hart should have dealt with it.....4 shit games and counting.

Ok, let's think about it for a second. Remember Sunderland's 4-3 last season ? Hughes was sacked and Bellamy, Ireland, Given, Adebayor and Santa Cruz ora SWP went to change the board decision.
One by one, Mancio transfered them (almost all) so maybe this is why Joe Hart became number one, after last season, Shay was number one (in my opinion).

Beside this, i think Mancio can turn this around and solve the shitty situation that we are in right now.

But you don't think we should be sacking the manager?

I don't think he is the man for City to win the league that is for sure. I think he's holding the potential of this team back a lot, I also think he's pissed off a lot of our squad leaving us with just a core 12-14 players to be called upon. I think he's making a lot of mistakes which he has not learnt from in 12 months of being in England.

But who's available? Nobody of any real note so I'll contine to support him when I'm at the match and continue to pick up on all his mistakes on this forum.

And we'll all live happilly ever after?

If Birmingham had played as well as Leicester & we had a weakened team I'd accept it. However, they were wide open to be beaten, they played badly & we stunk of shite.

Away games to come; Rags, Chelsea, Liverpool.

We have just seriously undermined our chances of top 4.

Absolutely.

We might finish fourth and I sure as shit don't want to risk throwing that away again, but winning the league with him could cost another 200m.

He came on at the start of the second half for de Jong (de Jong was involved in a clash of heads with Micah in the first half, Micah looked out cold but Nige came back on with a bandage on his head to see the half out).

Vieira was was off the pace and getting owned by a 37 year old striker. Totally to blame for the penalty against us and ended up costing us two points.

Second half sub? Guy looked shagged. I saw the pen, and it looked as soft as. I've seen at least two much worse challenges by some team I can't quite remember the name of, which weren't given. The ball had gone and his momentum carried him on, but it looked a nothing coming together. Maybe I need more than the one replay I saw. Wouldn't want to sound bitter! Not seen our goals.

Results like that make it look like this season could come right down to the wire like the last one. Such a direct comparison between Hughes' efforts and Mancini's would surely put the pressure on the board to look elsewhere if we fail. I don't reckon we will fail though. Between ripping it up and starting again, and sticking with Mancini, I think sticking with Mancini will bring silverware sooner.

There's no point in getting rid of Bob, he'll get it right eventually after learning from his own mistakes & be a great manager even though tonight he was a useless twat. My only concern is that once he's learned from his mistakes, he still continues as City manager. If he plans to go back to Italy in the next few years anyway, then I'd fuck him off at the end of the season if Mourinho was available. there's no point in sticking with him if he's going to leave anyway, then all we get is the 'mistakes' bit. We need some sort of long term commitment.

What also disappoints me was the state of the bench tonight - not one player on it who could come on and change the game:

Shay Given
Pablo Zabaleta
Joleon Lescott
Patrick Vieira
Jo(ke)
Kolo Toure
John Guidetti

Totally concur, but it's impossible to secure long term commitment in this game, particularly if your manager is from a different country with a strong football pedigree. The fact that we're offering the things a manager surely dreams of would surely be something only a maniac would voluntarily walk away from though?

Having seen the pen again on MotD, i think it looked as soft as silkworm farts. But if I'd been challenged like that in the box, I'd have gone mental.

I've been an unstinting Mancini supporter from Day One, but this is looking worrying. Our last two League games can be summarised as follows:
We're hit by a sucker punch by an Aston Villa team committed to blanket defending at home; Joe Hart gifts Darren Bent a dream goal and we rarely look capable of scoring, never mind winning
We take an early lead, which we retrieve after conceding a soft goal, which, if our keeper had been alert, he would easily have saved. Having regained the lead we sit back and invite them to attack us, and our most experienced player concedes a second soft penalty in a row to deprive us of two points.

So, essentially, when we fall behind, we're found lacking
When we go ahead, we sit back and defend too deep, instead of going for the jugular

This is the real shitter for me. All season I've assumed that if we could make it to the Jan transfer window, we'd tweak the squad & come out all guns blazing. Signing one attacking player & losing 3 is a disaster imo.

Even if it doesn't turn out to be the disaster you reckon, it will certainly have hampered our chances and that there is nothing but bad decision making. The players on the pitch cocking up can't be blamed for that, nor can the lack of options.
