It's a miracle, since becoming the most hated cunt in Manchester he's settled here nicely. Just in time to start hawking himself around for a move.

Right, I'll believe almost anything.

47,000 booing him coming on would be something else, but what would happen amd how weird would it be if he scored? Total silence?

Mad.

How about a gladiators style NO NO NO NO if he looks like he will be warming up or just laughing at him when he warms up.

This for me ... I just can't boo a player wearing the City shirt no matter what they've done (or not done in this case)

I think they are old quotes from before the Bayern game. Sure I've seen them somewhere before.

Would it count towards his appearances if Mancini were to put him on as a substitute in a match and take him off again five minutes later (replacing him with another sub, obviously), or are there a minimum number of minutes he has to play?

I think it's just games, Martin Samuel mentioned Carlos coming on for 10 minutes at the end and I wonder if he knows something we don't.

Ah, good. Samuel actually seems to research his articles, so I wouldn't be surprised.

he has to play 10% of games. Whether that's 1 game in 10 or 9 mins per game doesnt matter.
Let him have 90mins away at Arse against their kids in the CCQF. That'll do until Jan.
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

What if he's not considered match fit ? Surely then the rule can't apply or a player could gorge himself on chips for 6 months & then get a free transfer ? There must be some leeway. Perhaps if we say he's not match fit, then give him a few hours a day running up that hill, followed by ten minutes on the pitch, once a month.

Maybe we could say he has refused to come on in a game and therefore is in breach of contract, that's £50M resale value plus £250K/week for two and a half years, cheque will be fine thanks.

I don't get why this has been muddied so badly...oh wait, Kia.

In an interview with Corriere Della Sera, Mancini said: 'Everything depends on Carlos. If he apologises to the squad and to me then everything will be as before.

'If he doesn't then Tevez has a value that everyone knows and something will happen in January. He is totally unprepared and being badly advised.

'I don't want it to be like this and I would be the first to forgive him.'

Mancini dismissed claims that Tevez would be offered to Napoli in exchange for fellow Argentinian Ezequiel Lavezzi. He said: 'No-one from City will be given away.'

Why would City want someone who likes to refer to himself as the "next Carlos Tevez".

Even if he was fit, rather than resembling a portly gnome, I wouldn't risk playing him for more than a few minutes. Who knows what kind of mischief he might get up to. I'd not put any dirty trick beyond him.

Hey Ted, there does seem to be a colum a day on this Mancini is running rings around him, in the Employment area of comments, Tevez and his mouth-peice cannot leave it alone, One job we could get him to do looking at how unfit he will become could be Santa, the kids would love it Santa Carlos.

If Tevez ever wore our shirt again, I think a little bit of me would die inside.

Mancini's stance is clever, batting the ball into the opposite court and maintaining his stance publicly to avoid any confusion. A loan move or permanent move (please god) on 1st Jan suits us all, though this cannot be to another Prem club. Perhaps Real or Inter Milan maybe, I dont care where, so long as it isnt in England.

Thats actually not 100% correct. He has to play in 10% of games, but it doesn't matter for how long, he just has to step on the field. He could play 1 minute in 10 games and that would be ok. If he's not match fit than we don't have to play him at all. As said earlier in the thread, just set a target weight from last year and weight him once a week. If he is above the weight than he is unfit. Doubt we'd see him play for us again.
