Can't wait. Sounds like a fair price. Lol. Who fucking cares. If it's true we've given Brenda a war chest that he has a chance to rebuild with but if last summer is any indication he will be fucking it up majorly.

Anyway.

Ridiculous. We should have stopped at 35.

If the stories are true of course.

You have to pay what the selling team ask. He was never gonna cost less than 45 Mil. He's not on the market and Liverpool don't wanna sell really so they hold the cards not us

I guess that'll be the consolation if we do end parting with too much cash, at least it'll be going to a lost cause and I will mercilessly take the piss out of the dippers I know which ironically includes our FD at work our CEO.

It's really funny to watch the FD when I refer to Brenda Bodgers, he almost does a nervous tic thing, even those who don't do footie take note when we get on the subject just to get his reaction, I love my job since he joined. His predecessor was horse lover who lives in Cornwall, the new guy is so much more fun.

But, equally, they have a player who doesn't want to be there and if they don't sell him this year, then his value will be drastically reduced next year. We are realistically the only bidders for the boy so I would say we hold the cards, not the other way round.

If only we had someone seriously intelligent like you at the club ...
We'd sign sterling for free next year.

You are the stupidest cunt this board has ever seen. And that is high praise.

Maybe because others will get involved next summer at a lower price, so we want to ensure we get our man now?

But Liverpool have a player that doesn't want to be there, regardless of the potential future complexities of his contractual situation. Liverpool seem to be playing a very high stakes game of poker here, and we seem to be buying it for some reason.

I expect the reason nobody else was interested at 25, 30, 40 or whatever the bids have been, is because he is not fucking worth the amount Liverpool seem to want, and we are behaving like desperate amateurs. If we end up above 40m for this cunt, the transfer market is fucked for us for the rest of the summer.

City have been way ahead of the game on this, & have money to spend & require players in that position, more than the others do, that's why others aren't as interested.

If Oscar or Willian went from Chelsea & City weren't involved, Chelsea would be in for him. Rags would be in for him if they had the money available & thought for one second that Liverpool would sell.

It's absolute bollocks to suggest other clubs wouldn't pay it, of course they would & what's more they will either this window, or next season if City don't.

And the transfer windoiw is already fucked. Utd paid 30 mil for a fullback.

How much would we want for Sterling or Barkley if they were our players & England internationals, based on that ?

And just in case there's any doubt, Mourinho bought a 24 year old SWP, who he didn't even need as a sub, from City, in 2005 TEN YEARS AGO for £21 million .

If they were our players, it's highly unlikely that they'd be England Internationals.
