I hope Sturridge isn’t registered for West Brom before the 12 noon deadline. Nothing he’d like better than to stick one past us on Wednesday.

I wonder if his life experiences have made Sturridge a humble and better person from when he left us?

I saw somewhere that Toon fans were getting excited at the prospect of a 'top 6 player'. How are the mighty fallen

Manchester City recently (and quietly) completed the expected transfer of USA under-20 captain Erik Palmer-Brown after he left Sporting Kansas City – and he’s heading to Belgium on loan.

That news comes from American journalist Brian Sciaretta, who has given an update on a deal that was first known about back in September.

One journalist claiming City have taken a late and large interest in Mahrez. Not sure I believe that. I doubt Fred is dead but he may be one for the Summer.

Pep strongly playing down any other incomings this window. Mangala praised and will stay till the end of the season.

Several journalists reporting City serious about Mahrez because of length of Sane’s absence injured. It would take a huge sum and it’s very late in the day.
