I'm honestly not sure about these games. I liken it to a FA Cup match where a Top 6 team play a 3rd tier team. It's quite interesting in some respects but this is the 'World Cup', showcasing the beautiful game.

Iran could deprive us of so many wonderful matches.

In hindsight 1-0 with luck( for Spain) must surely put the shits up Portugal. Iran wins against Gobbi and they are through ( as much as i hate what i saw tonight )

As fair as quality of Football goes that team was playing best football I've sen from England side in at lady 15 years. So, NO, for once England aren't fucking shite.

They started out well in the first half but when Tunisia changed their shape to nulify them in the second half England didn't respond - which is Southgate's fault - although they managed to grind out a result . I'm kind of concerned he won't know what to do when he's presented with a problem from a 'better' side (or a side that's having a good match rather).

Absolutely 100%. Alli was an injured passenger for the back end of the 1st half and the rest of the 2nd half but Southgate waited until the 80th minute to replace him. Absolutely criminal management. If that was pep at City, we would be screaming from the rooftops.

He likes to play good football but can't read a game and his game management is piss poor.

I agree BUT it's early days with this generation. The signs are extremely positive though.
