Shit negative football. That most of you wanted.

The Ferns are not the problem the creative players are the problem imo. Fernando completed 100% of his passes last night and Fernandinho completed 80 ODD%.

Yaya, DeBruyne and Aguero were the problem last night, lax off the ball and poor in possession, particularly DeBruyne.

Aguero was running around in the defensive half of the pitch trying to get a ball played to his feet instead of only receiving long balls that Pepe would just pick of him. Don't see that as lax. Poor in possession yes, lax no.

Yaya was a disgrace yesterday. Couldn't be arsed. Talking what a great Club United are I see. Bye bye. De Bruyne's passes just didn't come off and there was no Silva so we had no creative spark. Thank god we had the two Ferns at least to battle in midfield. I don't blame Sergio. He had fuck all service so he did what all strikers do in those circumstance; he dropped deep to try to find the ball. It wasn't the right thing to do but I can see why he did it.

Squad back at 4.30 this morning. Got to pick themselves up for the Arsenal. First choice 11 please for the last two games. Hopefully we can scrape qualification for the CL. Like most can't wait for this shitty season to be over. How can we play so well against Chelsea and then fall off so quickly?

Aguero was asleep for most of the game last night. Absolute minimum effort and yed he did come very deep at times but what did he do there? He gave the ball back to whoever passed it to him which was a pointless waste of time.

Our problem last night were the so called front 3. Aguero not in a chasing up for it mood. I still think there is something wromng with him. It's either a niggling injury, an illness or he is justiin a mood for some reason.Yaya is Yaya and whilst I felt there was a chance he might just do something special, the one thing he would never do is contribute to any kind of high pressing game which Pellers said they were trying to do.

KDB had a poor night. One or two fleeting moments but he is all about seeing and doing things quickly and especially if there is good movement around him. Last night he got pretty well all his passing wrong and even his control let him down at times. So if the front 3 aren't firing at all there is little hope against a team like Real who basically sat back when they scored and played on the break. They said what have you got and we had nothing.

To be fair he has done his job. It's the forwards who can't be arsed in making a run a lot of the time

I think the forwards have given up making the runs when's Navas has the ball as they know it will never find them. Such a shame as he gets in some great positions

Not defending Navas as he does fuck up a lot, but he gets more blame than he deserves. He puts a few decent balls across the six yard area most games but not once do you see Aguero run in front of his man to the near post. It's too simple to blame Navas for every cross that doesn't find our one attacker amongst three or four defenders.

I'll defend him. At least he always puts a shift in, regularly beats his man, and puts a fair few good crosses.
So what if his finishing is shit, that's not his main job. I think he gets a lot of undeserved flak.

I did talk about the shift he was putting in at half-time. If you got the same effort out of the rest of the forwards you'd have world beaters.
The players we should be looking for in the future should be KDB technically with the work ethic of Navas.

It's not a coincidence the front players don't fire when the two Ferns play.
It's glaringly obvious that will happen.

This regarding Jesus; Hardly ever does anybody make a run across the near post and what is the point of him putting a high ball into the box for a 5' 7" striker to get his head on to? That is when the striker is not dropping so deep into central midfield and doing nothing of any value to the team.

Precisely why Yaya should have been on the bench. Contain them for the first hour or so and then bring him on.

I think it would have been a lot different if we had a fresh yaya to being on with 20/30 to go.

I get why he did it, as Sterling was so bad against Southampton he really couldn't justify starting him. Using Delph on the left has been disastrous so he had no other real option.
