Mahrez will be desperate to leave. Unlikely City will come back for him in the Summer.

And Sky report Mahrez has handed in a transfer request.

Zaha is quicker, younger and generally better, the only downside is he's called Wilf

Can't really see this happening given the money involved but we may need someone more than we realise. No signs of Jesus and others back in training and no injury updates during the last week of the transfer window.

Zaha is a great shout, him rather than mahrez

Do we need anyone?

Have we given up on Roberts? Where does it leave Sane/Sterling when both are fit.

This doesn't sit right with me. A centre midfielder is the priority. I assume we are still in for Fred, whether this window or the next.

All in order to get a few clicks. Why would we spend 50 or 60 million because a player, who is completely different in style, is out for a few weeks?

Doesn't make sense, does it?

And I was only thinking how thin on the ground and battered we looked at Cardiff. Seems I'm the only one

Are these the journalists with small brains who write about our spending ruining football?

Me too. I welcome reinforcements. We are in great position to make history but are one or two injuries away from it fallen apart.

Absolutely - we’re still on 4 competitions guys - add to that and we have leg breakers going in every other game - comes to something when you feel lucky that only 3 of your senior players are out with long term injuries due to shitty tackles

We need Mahrez due to our current injuries so we seem to have brought forward our Summer spending. Same for Laporte.

If Jesus and Sane are really out for any length of time + big Dave's fluid situation, anymore injuries and we are in trouble.

Mahrez would play in Sane's position. PL proven. Both are class in different ways.

This is a Summer buy brought forward.

SSN claiming Everton are in for Mangala. Surely we wouldn't let him go on loan? Recouping £30M would be acceptable though.
