Similar to Bony he's used to being a big fish in a small pond.

I can't believe you're comparing him to Bony.

I'd say it's more likely down to indecision as a result of trying to adapt to a new system/style.

FWIW I have my reservations about bringing him in but I'm not willing to judge the bloke after just 250 minutes of football. Almost every single player in the squad had a settling in period where they weren't producing anywhere near what they're capable of, I don't see any reason Mahrez should be any different.

Otter came in and just destroyed the league so I'll judge everyone by his standard.

Mahrez did dislocate both of Otters hips when the foxes ripped us 3-0 at our place, Just saying .....

Aguero scored late on, I believe.

Whatever the score ended up, I think we can all agree that Otamendi was particularly wretched.

What about last season? Or we going back 20 years to prove someones a good/bad player?

250 mins is a lot IMO.

How many minutes has Foden had ? and funnily enough , hes been fuckign amazing for every single minute of them.!!

Im not writing Mahrez off at all , I suppose Im a little bitter that hes come in as 60 million pound player who has years of Prem experience and hes not doing the basics well at all and kept Foden out of the side.

We are allowed to be upset.

Just over 400 minutes for Foden, I don't see what Foden has to do with this though as the two Silva's and Gundogan are playing in his position.

I never suggested for a second that anyone's not allowed be upset, I just believe it's absurd to judge someone when they haven't even played the equivalent of 3 games yet.

His decision-making process at Leicester was far simpler than it is with us. I'd give him till Christmas before he's sorted it out.

Bernardo is a good example of slowly does it. Now looks like a leader.

What does Mahrez do apart from that “step over, step over, move to your right but stop as you don’t know how to use your right leg and wait for the defender to get back in front of you” -move?

That reminds me exactly of what we used to laugh about tranny when he first broke through at United

I’d give him a start at oxford but right now there’s no reason why he should get minutes in prem instead of our kids. Would much rather see Foden or Diaz coming on

Unless Stering was bolloxed then I don’t see why Mahrez was subbed on for him, because he offers us nothing different and definitely nothing better.
Agreed with the other two subs though. Should have been the starting lineup. Although, just for Mase, why was Otter dropped.

I thought he did ok last night, we were crying out for something different on the right hand side so the move made sense. I would have taken off bernardo though and pushed sterling through the middle and gone 424 all out attack.

Sterling did look bolloxed tbf, not surprising given he was carrying the team in the first half.
