pretty clear he doesn't fancy the swamp- who would, poor team, no CL, new unproven manager, asset stripper owners?salford city wrote:Wooders wrote:So Barca want Silva but can’t afford him apparently unless they flog de jong - would we get away with player plus cash for him?
Bit of a theme still at Farca, wanting players but having no cash up front. Not seen anything of de Jong, highly rated when he went there and still only 25. If we're quoting 100M for Bernie, then de Jong has to come in at half of that and Farca still dont have that kind of money up front so cannot see that happening

If he goes I reckon it's bye bye Bernardo (SUBBED IN THE VILLA DECIDER REMEMBER!)

No.
For lots of reasons but his wages would be the main one

We're not a retirement home for old golfers. He can go to the swamp.

Think he would be better off staying put and training every day with the best players in English football. Getting minutes here and there and being gradually introduced. Especially if either or both of Jesus and Sterling move on
How many of our young lads have come back from a loan spell and been integrated into the first team set up? If he goes out on loan it’s to give him opportunity to shine and get a transfer elsewhere and get us extra money from a good transfer fee
