We could be down to 4th by the end of the games today, 6 points off the top but 2 games in-hand.

Not worried about being 4th. Sundrland at home is 3 points.Who were we supposed to play today ?

This next 45 mins could really shape liverpool's season. They look vulnerable and if they lose after being ahead here, I can see them panicking.

Fingers crossed.

As I was saying in the other thread ... these games in hand are great to have if Chelsea drops points while we don't play ... and the effect reverses and all the pressure comes on us if they don't drop points as now we have two games in hand but both of then are now MUST WINS ... opponent on the other hand have those points already on the board ...

Sunderland (Home) and Scum (Away) are now MUST WINS for us already ... next weekend Chelsea play Spurs at home and if they win that too then our third game in hand Aston Villa (Home) will also become a MUST WIN ...

I was hoping Chelsea will drop points today but they haven't ... we really need Spurs to win (or at least draw) at the Stamford Bridge next weekend.

Imo Andie yes they are.Their home form is almost on a par with ours points wise. Now they seem to be getting results away so for me they are our biggest danger.

Have been for a while, but both them & Chelsea have been trying to avoid the pressure imo because they are worried they won't be able to handle it when they have it all to lose by not getting 3 points every week.

The two cbs of Southampton are two of the slowest shittest defenders in the league, & we should have scored at least 4 goals against them.

If we beat Wigan then the An field game is gonna get rearranged. Long way to go but that could end up as the decider. See how their bottle holds then.

As long as we match them both we will win the league. Chelsea are gonna drop points because they are shite...absolute shit football ruining shit. They are so anti football they should be tied to the fucking post at Stamford bridge and then the shithole should be burnt down because they are horrible cunts.

Liverpool don't look like dropping points but they will, even with the penalties they keep getting, they will drop points so as long as we don't drop more than them we will win it. When they beat Chelsea we will only need a draw against Liverpool to stay above the 2.

Think that'll be to out advantage too, as they're not used to 3 games in a week and don't have the depth to swap players around.

Could really do with them getting some injuries though. And Hazard as well, whilst we're at it.

I don't think Liverpool have looked better than us at all. Suarez & Sturridge have looked better than Negredo & Dzeko, but the rest of the team has been verging on a shambles at times.

They were actually getting hammered for a fair part of that game yesterday but were fortunate that Southampton made all the wrong choices & finished badly, then handed them another goal on a plate.

Had Southampton scored when they should have, I recon Liverpool would have shit it.

But they didn't score, and Liverpool scored three. No point in saying what would have happened.
Just atm, they look like they're playing with a lot of confidence and they're record at home rivals ours recently.
Don't think they'll win the league but can't count it out as a possibility.
Plus they also have to play us and Chelsea at home.
