It is a fantastic plan and the right way to go. It's hard enough having to listen to the media using their misunderstanding of it as a stick to beat us with, but i really don't get our own fans falling for it.

It is GOING to work. It takes more than two years for it though. That is absolutely for sure.

Now, the problem is that the signings we made, for the most part, weren't in the top bracket.

The holistic approach has absolutely nothing to do with that. Nothing. It is also there so that IN TIME we can move managers as we like without needing a rebuild every time. Just like Barca.

Please stop joining in on the media's complete ignorance of the overall plan and saying shit like "well that didn't work".

It's my least favourite thing about being a City fan that. There are problems with the first team & football is expensive. The rest is fucking fantastic

It's not even a two or 5 year plan, it's 10 years & more. We just happen to be well ahead of schedule & should see some results in the next year or two.

There is no need to assume problems where none exist & conclude everything is wrong at the club because we have lost some games at first team level. We are in fantastic shape as a club.

No OD, that was already in-place. The holistic approach was sold to us on the sacking of Mancini on the premis that we would see the EDS players coming through the system, as if it was happening under the new management.

I don't need to say anymore.

What do you mean "we would"?
It is the beginning of the plan and "we will" see that happening.

Why do you think a plan that takes years has failed already? Is it because Pellegrini didn't use youngsters enough this season?

As for "being sold" it to justify Mancini's sacking. Would you have preferred they had said "He was a total cunt and he had to go"?
Because that was the reality at the club.

People keep using the fact that the club used the word "holistic" as a stick and it's fucking ridiculous.

If, as some reckon it has run its course and been a failure (which is also ridiculous), then it must have been a massive success last season, no?

They got rid of a manager who everyone seemed to think was a total cunt and brought a guy in that won the double.

The reality is that it is very early doors and I firmly believe it will work.

I don't know for sure though, because it is only beginning.

How the fuck can EDS players come through when they aren't ready or aren't good enough ?

Mancini had his fucking son, & his fucking son's mate playing in the EDS for fucks sake! He didn't give a fuck about any of it.

I don't disagree with anything you've said, just that the use of 'Holistic' was more of a ploy than a vision. The EDS coming through will work, even if it is just one a season, and those that don't make it for us will make the club some money.

It refers to the way the club is being designed to play football. The U11s are being taught the same stuff as the U18s. The ones being left behind are the first team.

One day, they will be the same. But not with the players we have now.

Anyway, we we'e been poor for the majority of the season, we've seen no forward movement from the team or no players come through the ranks, regardless of how good they've been in their games. We'll be back next season, just not guaranteed that we won't be playing on Thursday nights instead of the CL.

Players, management, directors, who knows the problem. Whoever, it needs sorting, especially with all these price hikes.

Goodnight.

I like Pellegrini, I think he is a great manager.
To win a double in your first season is no mean feat. What worries me is his seeming inability this season to put obvious deficiencies right. We pulled level with Chelsea on NYD on a successful run without Komps, Aguero and Ya Ya we won eight in a row by doing something different. We revert to type and it fell to pieces about eight games ago and nothing has been done to put it right and I'm worried. And no youth coming through. Sort it out

Struggling to believe anyone who knows anything at all about footy is defending Navas. Goes free of the defence, cant be caught but runs to the goalies left thus giving himself an impossible angle. You'd bollock a seven year old. Got free twice with players waiting for a tap in but played it blindly to no one. Never scores, never draws a tackle or finds a free man in the box. Runs around a lot though. Fuck me just not a proper pro footballer.Fern had a great first 15. Then disappeared. Again. We're a mix of arrogant twats, pygmies, and fuckers so far out of form its frightening. Team spirit? Non existent. And Pellers, nice guy but hoping "please" and "thank you" will work with players earning a million quid a month. Ted is right, the club is in decent shape. But the lot at the top, all around the first team , is a fuckin disaster. And lets face it, Ya Ya, Nasri, Dzeko, Kolarov are at the heart of it, players who just wont accept that their effort has been woeful and want special treatment. If your a good pro and you watch Ya Ya slag the club off, disrespect every one, get barred from the champs league, fuck off to Africa and come back a mile off the pace, lie on your back flapping your fuckin arms because someone has had the temerity to knock you over, then get given the captains arm band, why should the grafters bother. Its not Rocket science. And that is where we are at.

Spot on with Navas. Had maybe 2 good games this season rest of the time gets ball in great positions doesn't use his pace and never takes players on. If he was available would any other top 6 club in league want him ?

Lay in bed snuggling to sleep cause of these twats. Bet their all tucked up in their 3 million pound mansions not giving one fuck about today and thinking what they can buy as the shops tomorrow on their day off. Should be dragged in for double session and made to watch the game again....

Scum fans I spoke with yesterday really were worried that we would beat them as we are a class team and were bound to put it all together soon. They even seemed to think we were unlucky against Palace and Burnley. What do they know.

For the first part of the match we did show how good we can be with energy and our attacking ability. Scored one and could easily have had 2 or 3 and we were showing the scum for what they are. Then a massive punt downhill , we are all over the place with Zaba on his arse and one lucky break later and they score. Who was at fault? Given that we were defending a corner it's reasonable to think that we had a lot of players back defending! But when that ball was crossed we had maybe 4 back there trying to stop the cross. Teams that can defend and certainly teams against us would have had about 9!

We do not do defensive thinking very well and seem to leave it to individuals to make a tackle or stop a cross when it should be a team thing with key players in key positions doing the right job. When that ball was crossed somebody ( one of the 2 centre backs) should have just knocked the ball away. Dead simple like happens 100% of the time Navas crosses a ball

That Mata goal was dreadful. MDM made an interception but was so sloppy that he allowed the ball to be taken back off him. meanwhile Mata had run forward and our two key players MDM and Yaya didn't react at all.

Just too predictable that we lost it today and something does need to happen to shake things up. Can we win our home games to the end of the season of course we can but we might just need to score a load of goals or hope the opposition are crap like WBA were.
