RSC actually came on for Bridge which was an even stranger decision, bring on a striker yes, move a RB who has played all game in midfield over to LB and take a natural and attacking LB off. Bizarre

I care about the Europa League. Some of the Matches last season were really special to me. Anyone who went to the Home leg vs Hamburg will have felt the atmosphere.

Without Googling it, who won it last year? We got so close and I couldn't even be bothered to watch the final. Apart from Liverpool, I couldn't even tell you which English sides are still in it and that's how little it matters to most

Looks like our season is about to disappear into the abyss - you seriously have to consider whether the owners panicked

Having said that had Tevez not been called away the tie would have been over at HT at COMS

All that has been proven is Mancini's own mantra: the most important thing for a manager is luck.
1) top scorer on family leave
2) Ade sent off with a bad decision that changed the game
I must remember to get a new signature.....

Didn't really like Hughe's style. Don't really like Mancini's style.

Its pretty shit really...

Who do you want in charge? Name anyone.

I loved Hughes' attacking Football in the second half of last season. Going 3-0 up against Blackburn or something. It was fun to watch.

ADE GETTING SENT OFF DIDN'T HELP BUT 3 GAMES AGAINST STOKE AND NOT LOOKED LIKE WINNING ANY OF THEM.

WE WILL DO WELL TO GET ANY EUROPEAN SPOT, NEVER MIND CL.

I DO NOT WANT THIS MAN AT OUR CLUB. LIKE IT OR NOT, SACKING HUGHES IS PROBABLY THE ONLY REAL MISTAKE OUR OWNERS HAVE MADE. AND THE DEPRESSING THING IS THAT IT WAS DOWN TO TWATS, LIKE A FEW PEOPLE ON THIS SITE, WHO EVIDENTLY KNOW FUCK ALL ABOUT FOOTBALL.

YOURS,

PISSED OFF,
MANCHESTER

Sorry but no matter how bad Mancini's doing, it was not a mistake to get rid of a useless Rag like Hughes.

There's lots of things that are unacceptable, but tonight's performance really is taking the biscuit. Absolute crock of bobbins.

Problem is now that the board have shot themselves well and truly in the foot with the way that they appointed Mancini in the first place, who else is going to want to come if you know you can be dismissed in such a fashion like Hughes was by the board? Similarly, there's no point in doing the whole thing again and appointing anyone else now because how long will they get before they are replaced?

There's one main difference between Stoke and us tonight. Stoke wanted it more. Simple as. And that does hurt. Where are the City players who could show the same level of determination, passion and pride in the shirt?

that was almost like a fuck you in throwing him on. i don't get it. What's he hoping for? one of his once-every-four-year wonder goals? he's had his this season already.
