Malaga have qualified for a Europa League in at least 7th place apparently, that means the Slightly Sparkling One is free to leave.
Might be worth checking the OS tomorrow.

Well colour me pink if this guy is not a success here he has all the attributes to cut it in the PL he plays attacking football. All the managers that have won the PL have played attacking football even the special one and our new guy does it with young players so a dynasty could be just round the corner so to speak.

My only concern would be how he is treated from above.

The reason he was sacked from Real is because upstairs wanted certain players to play and some that they didnt want him to play and he went against them.

If upstairs are buying players without his say so, I hope they allow him to build the team his way. It won't work if they expect him to play football in their vision.

It's great if he can play wonderful attacking football, but he'll also have to defend against corners & free kicks & deal with blanket defences & mindless runners & do all the dirty stuff.

The first time Mancini encountered Stoke, he didn't know what the fuck had hit him. A year later, the average height of the team was about 2 ins more. We have been the better side in every game v Stoke ever since but still never mastered Everton or breaking down a side who have no interest in winning the game.

Pellegrini will have a lot of new problems to deal with as a Premier League manager, no matter how experienced.

How he deals with that, will decide his fate.

I thought he was sacked from Real because Mourinho was available....

I really don't understand why so many think Txiki and Soriano and running EVERYTHING and the manager position is just a face, or something. I don't see why this manager won't be like a normal manager; Mancini wanted too much power at the club. He wanted to do whatever he wanted without reporting to anyone. That's not how it works...or why else have a CEO etc.

never ran operations.

Then, You have to decide who knows best on football operations: whether the Fergusons, Wengers, Mancinis of this world, or the Marwoods.

A change of president happened when Pellegrini was appointed and he spent £200 million on players that he wanted to be played.

The sad thing was he couldn't play then all as the balance of the team was non-existent. This lead to his sacking and up popped Mourinho.

There won't be as many as you think mate, surely some of them will be on their way out.

Please don't get me started back on this where's the evidence bollock, mate.

Get what You please, enjoy the sense of liberation and relief at not having to see the eyebrows shaped dictator ruining the magnificent side he has inherited and the progress people have claimed for the last 4 shameful years.

Now You have got the progress. The rags will certainly enjoy it, much more than they Blues are gonna do, I fear.
