W-A-M?

Please can you refrain from starting you responses when quoting, it seriously is doing my tits in now PLEASE
Quite clearly you are quoting said person, surely that is enough?
Sorry, rant over.
And don't think of replying....
@CTID Hants.... WE GET IT...
(Perhaps rant over wasn't quite)

It obviously was NOT clear enough for YOU, since I wanted to directly respond to Abu Dhabi's message, while making a reference back to Peter Parker's original thread topic! During group debates, I thought it was polite to directly address the person, if I was responding to one individual, rather than the whole group.
I also have quoted one member, while replying to another, on other occasions.
Sorry that you get offended so easily...

That's better...

Thank foooooooook someone got this sorted.

It can't always be me :)

150 million was the buyout clause in his contract. He had a handshake agreement with the board if he didn't play a certain amount of minutes he could go for 21 million.

Polite? on here? mate, you're on the wrong forum if you're trying to be polite.

It's not just about politeness, but also a matter of clarity. If I include 5 quotes from 5 different people, but wish to reply to just one person, how will that person know that the reply was directly for them? Why should someone have to guess if they are being replied to, or not?

With relative ease I would say, it also tidies the board up a bit by not having shed loads of text repeated...... Or you could use highlight functions for just that?

Highlight what? You demanded that I stop naming the individuals that my replies are specifically addressed to.

City has just broken a 103-year old record and instead of celebrating that, you seem more interested in bickering over my writing style!

I believe we've equalled a 103 year old record.

We won 9 in a row in 1912, unless you're referring to another record.

Rose remembers that year quite clearly, but then like an idiot, she went and threw that expensive pearl necklace from the deck into the ocean.

An update on the KDB saga after Bayern reportedly declared their interest in an earlier report today, but now seem to have done an about-turn:

Let's just hope that Txiki doesn't make a Titanic mess of this KDB transfer and that it doesn't sink like a disaster!
