I'm so glad I don't support England. You look at half the players that regularly make that squad and I personally wonder why I didn't make it as a professional footballer.

It's pathetic, isnt it. Called up for who you play for rather than form or ability; it's a sham.

Was talking to the lad about the llama and his thoughts were he was a good player, picked on form. Once I'd explained the basics of him actually having to set something up he soon changed his opinion.

Nioe, not being harsh at all mate, they are now resorting to LVG tactics as they don't know how to get in behind. Watford played them at their own game, pressing them all over the pitch. And it worked a treat.

Just shows how really bad we were in our game. Yes, there were some shit decisions but the formation and players deployed were a very straight 'Yep, you have the game, we're concentrating on Europe'.

Well, the new manager surge has worn off and its clear that while Klopp's tactics, properly executed, can be effective in the PL, this squad wont implement them effectively on a regular basis. I expect to see a few signings in January and some improvement but a proper restructuring in the summer. This year their best hope is the two domestic cups, although missing out on Europe could actually help them next season.

Don't forget that even in a two horse race there is only one winner. Iker Casillias was at Madrid for 16 years and won the league only 5 times with 2 Spanish cups and 3 CL. Therefore in eleven years they didn't win the league. Pep has won leagues most seasons he has been a manager. The fact he has won at Barca and Munich doesn't diminish the achievement in my view. He has had competition in both those leagues and also in winning the CL. BFS thinks along the same lines claiming he'd win the league every year at Barca or Madrid. Laughable in reality
