I think it would be foolish to lynch Tevez just now. It's early days and as the Rooney case showed all it will take is a bit more money and everything will be changed. Rooney never wanted to leave United and his agent made him look a complete c**t in everyones eyes.

Lets just wait and see and concentrate in getting behind the team for Saturday and If he turns up in Madrid I will be at the front of the angry mob.

Whilst this is my thinking, I think I could hate tevez more if this was the case.

He has selfishly (at least in some personal capacity, it can't ALL be kia) just caused a whole lot of shit when we are in the best possible league position in decades with a hugh fixture list over Xmas. So if hes doing it to get more money and fuck with us, he can get bent.

I read that & imo he said enough to prove that he has contacts at City. I think he & City may have misjudged how close Tevez is to his agent though & I think that's what the 'problem' is with certain City executives; they tried to fuck Kia off because he's a greedy shit stirrer; Tevez went with him. Now they're trying to drive a wedge between the owner & the management.

Tevez says he has fallen out with "certain executives"
Manchester City will not sell want-away striker Carlos Tevez in January, BBC Sport understands.

The player says he wants to leave because his relations with "certain executives" at the club have "broken down beyond repair".

Manchester City made the decision not to sell Tevez after talks with club owner Sheikh Mansour.

If the Argentine refuses to play or retires, the club will seek compensation for breach of contract.

The deal, which has three-and-a-half years to run, is estimated to amount to tens of millions of pounds and if it is not honoured, City will take the matter up with his agent and former 'owner' Kia Joorabchian.

From Karlsentk on twitter via TLDORC

city might have to sacrifice tevez to get "house in order". tevez not a bad kid & certainly not a political person. unlike his advisors...

garry cook (rightly) put an end to kia joorabchians influence at city (under previous regime), pay-back time ever since. tevez just a pawn

unlike many other clubs, city pick their targets then pay their agents. not the other way around. that's already a good start

plus cook/marwood's firm resistance towards letting powerful agents "run the club" is upsetting a lot people

Cook and Marwood are representatives of the club and the club is bigger than any player. They stay, Tevez goes if this is what Kia is playing at. I don't see Cook and Marwood being sacked by the Sheikh just to appease Kia and keep Tevez.

I think they've been after after more money all along; loads of it. More than we were willing to pay. I do believe that Tevez misses his family but not enough to quit. I think the fact that Tevez is homesick & doing it as a job means that they've gone for as much money as they can get & the management got sick of it, thinking they could solve the problem by getting rid of Kia. Tevez is going with Kia. Kia is probably hoping the Sheikh will act, over Cook's head but if he does, Cook would have to quit so it's Kia v Cook. That's why Tevez is making a point of saying he's ok with Bob, the Sheikh & the fans.

If it fails, Real or Barca will be ready to pick him up cut price unless the Sheikh gets tough. If the Sheikh sees his arse though, Tevez has a big problem. I hope the Sheikh sees his arse & tells them they're stuck at City. Then Tevez has to either quit, see out his contract in the reserves or come crawling back, cap in hand.

That's part of the situation for sure. Cook and Marwood have all but said that they will not be doing biz with Kia in the future and Kia being a clever man and....welll...... Carlos not so, I'm sure he has been whispering shit to Carlos' dodgy ears.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Can Real or Barca match what he's on here though? No way and Messi and Ronaldo would promptly throw their toys out the pram, as would Xavi, Casillas, etc etc. This is why i think this is all one big bluff by Tevez but he probably wasnt expecting us to even contemplate not buckling to his demands.

Exactly. We need to stay strong, otherwise players will play us like dicks from now on - especially with the new UEFA rules coming up. We cannot afford to keep paying ludicrous wages. If not backing down means flogging Tevez (not literally sadly) or just benching him for a couple of months then so be it.

Ronaldo & Messi will be on fucking fortunes. Tevez is almost on par with them on effectiveness of performances; he's a potential star over there. There's the merchandising/image rights etc which will be enormous with their fan base. I'm sure they could do a deal with Tevez & Kia where they'd earn much more but they'd want to shaft us over the transfer fee to help finance it. I imagine they'd want a swap deal; we take several players + wages off their books, they spend the wages on Tevez. No lose for them.

Joorabchian's wikipedia page. A proper dodgy chancer.

Here's the opener...In the register of directorships at Companies House in London Joorabchain gives two nationalities, Canadian and British, as well as two names, Kia Joorabchian and Kia Kavash, and two dates of birth, 14 July 1971 and 25 July 1971.

precisely.

no club has ever been in such a position of power in terms of dealing with this kind of situation before. 0ur aim should be to keep Carlos as a player and onside but if necessary we should be prepared to play ultra hardline on this.

Play, retire or rot (and get sued for BoC)

Absolutely. I don't think we should play him until this is sorted though. City fans being what they are, it would be fucking awful if he came on the pitch at the moment. At some point he has to decide how it's going to be. If he plays the cunt, treat him like one, if he wants to play football, engineer a way for him to come back into the team, like rags did with Rooney; but without the fucking pay rise. Needs a cooling off period.

Depending on the players, no lose for us either. But I'd be wary of taking players from Barca. Especially those like Pedro who have come from the youth system, they might look top class because they know their role better than their own name, but put them in a different system and they might look average.

They could easily manage to match his wages because they dont lose 50% in tax over there do they. So they would only have to pay him half what we are anyway.

Following Carlos Tevez's revelations he will quit Manchester City next month, several clubs including Spurs, Barcelona, and Real Madrid have already made contact with the player's advisers to open preliminary talks over a transfer.

And voila, the homesick thing is blown away. Tevez must be Harry Houdini.
