Not at all. But as the cup keeper he'd have been worth a look at
He clearly wanted the chance to be first choice which he wouldn't get with Eddy around so everybody's a winner.Maybe we've got an option on him too.

Indeed. Can't fault the lad for wanting first team football which he is now getting. Which is the reason why I'm most disappointed by him going.

From what I saw, his foot game was terrible on Saturday, so I don't see how he can work under Pep.
Still had some good saves.

If Haaland does continue in this scoring form say and for next 3 seasons he doez the same and say we win league titles and Champions League with him, what would be his price anx would Real Madrid be abld to afford him, and would we want to cash in and say thank you?

There is every chance Real could go downhill like Barca, no chance he'll move there if that's the case. No chance he'll move to a prem rival. No chance he'll move to Italy, can't see their league improving soon. I expect him to be here for at least 4 years, after that who knows

It won't be Stones who does it, he'll be injured.

"Haaland has 20 goals and three assists from 13 matches and failed to score in the league only once."

This is a stat I'm seeing a lot of and I'm just wondering why it's always 13 matches. I'm counting 9 in the premier league and 3 in the champions league?

Now, are they including the Community Shield and if so, had he scored in that, would they be using the stat of 21 goals and 3 assists in 13 matches? Do goals in the community shield count, because I always though they didn't??

I have seen a lot of him as hes irelands number one and his footwork is quality. Part of the problem for him on sat, was soton players were hiding and giving him very little option so he was rushed long a couple of times. Some went out of play and some were just badly controlled by soton players. If he played for us hed have no problem. Hes not as good with his feet as ederson but id have him better shot stopper. Id say he would rank top 5 in prem for footwork though so still quite decent its just playing for Southampton esp against city makes him look worse than he is.

I think great move for him, hed never get past eddy at this stage so playing in prem at 20 week in/out is brilliant. Esp jumoing fron league two. Pity soton so defensively poor as he hasnt got a clean sheet yet. I hope hes not made a scapegoat for that poor team.

As you will no doubt know, OD, yes they are including the CS to slew his figures. Better to include the CS as he did not score in the same way that they would exclude it had he scored. Its all so predictable and somewhat sinister as they all then trot out the same stats. Alas for them all, we and Erling will have the final words

Cheers Salford, so I'm not wrong then, Community Shield goals don't count towards a striker's "all comps" goals scored total?

My God they really are pathetic if that is the case. They're adding games where goals wouldn't have counted, how the fuck does that work

Kylian Mbappe has been overtaken as the world's most valuable football player
Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are shaping up to be the two pre-eminent stars in world football, but recent form means the Norwegian now has the edge when it comes to transfer value

How valuable is attitude? For me:
One comes across as a humble player who is focused on the team and is genuinely delighted when his team mates score.
The other comes across as an arrogant player who is focused totally on himself and does not care about the team.
