I hope the players act accordingly to him when he turns up for training. Maybe even invite Ishmael back for a training 'session' and Tevez, Micah and Miller can share the same shower afterwards??

Following Carlos Tevez's revelations he will quit Manchester City next month, several clubs including Spurs, Barcelona, and Real Madrid have already made contact with the player's advisers to open preliminary talks over a transfer.

And voila, the homesick thing is blown away. Tevez must be Harry Houdini.

Harry didn't take long did he? Mr 'I'm not a fuckin wheeler dealer.'

Sky Sources claim we are prepared to offer him an increased contract.

Absolute joke and no way should this happen. It sets an awful precedent.

Its exactly the same situation apart from Tevez has more time left on his contract. I do get the feeling that he will sign a new one though and will be sold in summer.

And all that proved was that they are no longer the dominant force they used to be. A player never got away with pulling that shit at the rags before the desperation of clinging on by their finger nails set in.

We are on our way up now and no way should any player be allowed to crap all over us publicly and then get rewarded for it.

The rags are weak and vulnerable, we are not.

Agreed. I don't care how good he is or how much money we have. I draw a line at greed and it's way before players start pulling stunts like this.

That little shit should be grateful for the opportunity of playing for us and if he isn't he should fuck off and make way for someone who is.

EDIT: That said, we can expect much more of this in the future. If our season tickets rise in price because of it, I shall be quite upset.

Until we are qualified for Champions League, we are also vunerable. With the new fair play to miss out could be a real problem

It would be RIDICULOUS to offer Tevez a new and improved contract after this and I frankly, I don't believe the Club will do it.

The statement on the OS yesterday was perfect and included the line "we do not negotiate contracts mid-season". To do so now would make the club look like fools (ARE YOU READING THIS GARY??).

Time we paid ourselves some respect.

I find it hard to beleive.
It's now adamant that it all started because the management draw a line at Agents and Kia in particular.
The shit clearly appears to be his reply. Now don't tell me You expect Big Ol' Gary to withdrawn that line...

Bullocks on bullocks... that will be stirred until the final settlement, which, as already said, i really do hope it will come with no rush and absolutely no mercy. 3 and a half year contract are a huge gauntlet in respect of all party involved. unless the Owner will decide to play it down with mercy.

I'm not condoning it in anyway, but whenever a player vastly improves or becomes the club's biggest asset, they are often rewarded with a bigger deal, even if they're only partway through their current deal. I know he's already on big wages, but he has become a world great since he joined and perhaps he feels he should be paid the same as Rooney, given he is just as important, if not more important than he is to the scum?

I don't think its a coincidence that this follows very soon after Shrek's stunt.

It stinks, but is this the future of new contract negotiations? I hope not, but I've seen Gerrard, Rooney and Lampard (to a lesser degree obviously) make a similar stand and make sure their importance to the club is FURTHER rewarded.

Its not completely unusual is what I'm trying to say I suppose... greedy and selfish, yes, but not unique.

Actually there is a scenario where Tevez comes back with a new contract and City get what they want namely the removal of the Joobie chap.

Tevez lumps all the blame at Joobie's door and then sits down with City and start negotiations with his new agent in tow on the basis the old contract was tainted by past associations. This whole affair is a power play between Joobie and City and if the price of a new contract is Joobie's removal then City will happily pay that price because they also get what they want.

I can't see it happening but never say never and all that.
