But from what I've seen of Pep he has a "if he wants to stay he can" kind of attitude, where he should be doing better than that.

They have to convince him when they get their chance, Sancho had convinced him that he was worth his place in the squad, he was due to go on preseason with the squad after shaking hands on a new deal. The next step was to convince Pep on the pitch when the opportunities came, like they did for Foden and Diaz last season but instead he reneged on the deal and fucked off.

Speculation.

Whats not speculation is Dortmund believed in him and convinced him and signed him and hes now the best player in their league.

And City believed in him, hence the contract offer.

JS didn't believe in PeP, hence hes not here.

No shit sherlock, any other pearls to share

JS probably knew he was being bullshitted to as PeP has a record of Lying.

Royal fuckup......lets see who else we sign this january. (Although PeP did say we won't be signing anyone...which probably means we are then )

I take it from this thread the Jadon Sancho exit is Peps fault to some fans. A kid we offered a huge amount to stay said NO me and my agent have done a deal with Dortmund. FFS anything to have a go at the club that we all support. You could not make this shit up. Oh wait...............

Yes we fucked up with Sancho, maybe we could have done better, maybe we couldn't. Had we developed him and helped him progress, we could have shut the media about our youth development, however we've handed them a stick to beat us with it.

I dont see the point dwelling on it, if any, it should help us reassess our youth strategy and ensure this doesn't happen again in future.

On the plus side, we have first option to buy him back, so if he goes on to be world class, as long as we can match the highest bid, we can bring him back. I'd replace him with Mahrez in a year or two with a heartbeat.

No, really? I'd never have guessed. Easy to be critical, isn't it?

Sadly all too easy, we've all seen the consequences of our lack of cover coming. No point in becoming an apologist for this mess FIBD.

So that justifies criticising him for not playing a 16 year old, come on JC, this is fucking nonsense.

What's that got to do with Sancho anyway? It's a separate issue which I have previously stated that we fucked up, so your claim of me being an apologist for it is misguided.

I'm not saying Sancho should have been played any more than Foden was last year. The issue is losing him in order to sign a £60m bottler and not strengthening where we needed to in the summer. I'm glad you are not trying to defend that, I misunderstood - sorry.
