Yeah that is grand. But we HAVE to deal with a problem.
And that problem is a manger who beyond doubt just can't do it in this competition. Its been proven now over several seasons.
Oh wait, maybe it was the officials fault. That must be it.
Move on, alls good.

I'm trying to be balanced, I got shut down by certain individuals for calling out Peps outrageous lineup. The more I think about It the more feel frustrated. All the hard work down the drain thanks to an almighty brainfart. I like Pep, still wouldn't change him, but you got to call him out for his infamous brainfarts.
The question is, if we make it to a final again, are you confident he wouldn't tinker again?

Look I love pep for what he has done domestically and full credit to him. But in this competition he's been utter crap. This season I thought things were changing, up to tonight he picked the best teams, and then this selection? I mean that's the biggest let down. Why now? Just fucking why? I just can't get it. I know we're all upset. And we will move on, but tonight just was not good enough. I am sorry its just not acceptable. I know he hasn't the balls to admit he got it wrong and apologise to the fans, but I wish he would be man enough to do so.
Apologies for being honest and upseting the blue specs brigage I don't want to offended, some won't care, but I do.

I know I'm not a football manager but when gundogan joined and played that role he was shit for us. Then he plays further forward and becomes top scorer. His best intricate play is in the box ( and usually when not playing with de bruyne). Not to start with fernandinho when he's been in top form recently is inexcusable in my opinion. Say you're a Chelsea fan and tuchel left out kante. You'd be saying what the fuck? I'm pissed and angry so had better stop posting. Just can't believe we played that team and tactics. Surely you start defensive in a FUCKING FINAL and if you want to get cute you change it when you're winning?

Gundogan hasn’t played in that position tonight at anytime this season absolutely mind blowing decision from pep . Foden also should have played his usual position out wide but was starved of the ball in the middle instead. Mind blowing starting Sterling absolutely mind blowing.

Just got back from the stadium. Feel utterly deflated.

I think we all knew what was coming when the line-up came through. Sterling was gash but that was to be expected, what wasn’t expected was the rest of the team bottling it so horribly, but the biggest offender has to be Pep. Why just fucking why would you fuck about with a winning formula!?! Criminal not to start with Fenrnandinho or even Rodri. We lost that game due to lack of control in the centre.

Players looked nervous and our support wasn’t much better, outsung by the chavs throughout the game. There was a handful of us that tried, but it waned as the game progressed. Regardless we didn’t deserve that performance and the fact most of us spent 1k upwards rubs salt into the wounds even more.

Only highlight not that it’s really much of one, was meeting Alex Williams, Andy Morrison, Shay Given and Liam Gallagher who were sat behind me. Gonna be a shit journey back home and take a few days to get it out the system.

Yeah it certainly wouldn’t have helped, everyone was shaking their heads at the lineup - beggars belief why Pep did it, when every City fan knew what the end result would be. Still though we outnumbered the twats easily, embarrassing.

As bitter as it feels - it's progress - in the cold harsh light of day we made the CL final for the first EVER time in CITYS history. Now we have to build on it.

What is the problem we HAVE to deal with? I thought we had all come to realise that this is a CORRUPT SHITHOUSE of a competition and the only true value it has is financial (and we’ve grabbed most of the benefits by getting this far)

You can’t beat everyone all the time. Sometimes beautiful football loses out to ugly, simple, bus-parking, ball chasing fast bastard drossball. What would be the point of playing if you already know the result? The beauty of football and cup competitions in particular is that anybody can beat anybody on the day!
If it were as simple as “swap Sterling for Foden and put Ferna on” we would all be millionaire managers.

Chelsea have beaten us 3 times on the trot this season, would you prefer to be them?…or Leeds?…maybe rags?

We have been the best football club on the planet in recent years, steadily building since we finally found a worthy and capable owner in the sheikh. Can you think back 15 years and imagine yourself whining about losing a fucking CL final?!….We all would have pissed our beds for weeks in excitement from just thinking of having a sniff of a chance of any cup final.

Just sit back and enjoy the ride, it’s just getting started.

What's corruption got to do anything with poor selection?
I'm just blaming Pep based on tonight's selection, I'm not calling for his head. You can't turn a blind eye, it needs to be addressed as I have no doubt we'll make the final again at some point.

The ref was a factor, he gave us nothing. But the root cause was Pep's team selection. It was just plain crazy. (Timo could have got a hat trick in the first half alone) because of Pep's changes to the way we normally play. He unbalanced the team, removed our solidity in front of the defence, brought in an out of form player, unsettled the players and left them unsure of what they were supposed to be doing.
I thought he had learnt his lesson from previous fcuk ups.
Obviously not. This is going to be a hard pill for him to swallow.
