Ohhhhh, I see a change in voting, now 54% No or Not Yet to 46% Get Him Out of Here Now!

Subtle change, but a change nonetheless!

Now 45:55. The gap is widening (until saturday, at least).

End of the season for me.

Then see how near or far away we are before any judgement is made.

Reaching 1st semi final of my lifetime took 4 matches. That alone gets him this season from me. 4 matches that no other manager I have seen has put together, unveleivable.
Tracking back is overrated.

Same here for me, after getting us to our fist semi-final since 81' I think he deserves it.

well we showed a lot more than "something" so for me the stay of execution remains until we win / get knocked out of the League Cup.

Agree entirely. The players completely rose to the occasion for him and his subs/tactics were spot on. The two DM's absorbed 90% of their attacks and stopped them from playing football. Once they had the ball they'd dish it out to Tevez, Adebayor and the like.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Hughe would have saved a lot of grief had he made tactical changes to teams that could have killed off games against Hull and Burnley. Big test is next week against the lower shite like Notlob. Is it destiny that it may possibly read on Hughes gravestone 'if only we had beat the likes of Hull'.

Still a little on the fence a little off, a little on the darkside and a little wanting to hug him right fucking now.

Thats fair enough mate. Nobody is giving him beyond the end of the season yet.

Just remember you said till the end of the season. Dont go changing again before that :)

After 2 great games like that and only losing 1 this season (as well as getting to the only semi's since (you already know how long), I would've thought the poll would have been irrelavent by now!

Maybe certain people aren't about the club but more about what they have to say?

I said it was a big week for him and he's done okay out of it. An iffy penno decision and some poor finishing against Hull has spoiled an excellent week slightly, but beating Arsenal and Chelsea surely see off the doubters for a while at least.

However the simple fact is that if we beat Arsenal and Chelsea, and this poll is re-done on Monday the result will be completely different with a semi-final and a decent league position.

Which is why I voted 'wait and see' and also why the owners wont change anything in the near future.

Well well well.

This sort of poll now looks a bit foolish and ill-timed. Obviously everyone with a passion against Les will have voted, whereas most obviously cant be arsed with the same old dross.

The poll was set agaibst a backdrop of one defeat in all competitions. It now exists against a backdrop of a semi-final and a greatly deserved victory against the league's best side. City's best performance for a long time.

Some on here were recently even questioning whether Tevez was up to it.

Fuck me guys get a grip and park it for a while.
