This guy is not the answer and we`ll never know if Les would`ve got us there cos this guy had fuck all to do with it. However I`m positive GO the next manager and if not him the next one and the next one who are we signing now ...Torres..great go him...where are we now 5th or 6th nearly there. I hope everybody saw what I saw which was a clueless performance.

We weren't clueless Simon

Does it look different on telly or am I just pissed. From where I was stood we just gave them possesion in the channels and offered NO threat.

We had enough threat Simon, just not enough to win the tie. What can I say? don't have a go at Mancini though. Its his job to decide if the defenders are up to it and if he feels we arent and surgery is needed then its on his head, 6 months or 3 years and six months whatever. My question is, if we'd had our first choice back four out tonight, would Rooney not scored that goal? on past performances I wouldnt put my composter on it let alone my house so lets concede we came up short get behind the team and trust in the manager to rectify the careless mistakes. Would he have Garrido, Zabba and Richards as his first choice full backs if given the choice? no. Don't dismiss him, by all accounts he works far closer on team play than Hughes ever did, so he must be making his mind up about players now through until the summer. He's working with what he has right now.

Did I mention the Bellamy incident changed the game.

Bellamy's a cracking bioke!

Is it possible to be gracious when you're feeling suicidal?
Maybe you can when it doesn't really hurt.
Maybe you can when it doesn't mean that much?

I will graciously accept we lost a battle tonught.

IF...
The rags graciously accept that Ferdinand should have bee sent off for assaulting Tezez.
The rags graciously accept that Rooney should have been sent off for his assault on Zabaleta.
The rags graciously accept that Scholes shoud have walked.
The rags gracefully accept that once again they got away with murder tonight.
The rags graciously accept that it is inevitable that city will overtake them in the very near future.

If they can't graciouly accept that...THEY CAN FUCK OFF.

I'm sooooooo pissed off now (hindsight is a great thing!) that we acted like bumboys at home. I still believe in Mancini, but he didn't fill me with confidence with his gayboy tactics over these 2 legs. We could've beeen in the final now, if we weren't so scared of the twunts. Such a shame, such a shame

I think Bobby did the best with what he had avaliable.

We could have Kamikaze'd them but that probably would've ended in a drubbing, i think he probably got it right over the two legs.

On another day SWP would've scored at our place and tevez or richards would have scored there chances today.

The rub of the green just wasn't there, it happens.

Time to dust ourselves off and try again.

the 2nd fucking ball fucked us everytime. we'd make some brilliant tackle in the 6yard box, and not bother closing downing the 2nd oppurtiny. poor really, but the fact the goal was in stoppage time makes me extra gutted. fuck gracious, fuck utd scum.

Go easy Fidel mate...In the 1st game we were without so many players.
It wasn't much different this time either.

Toure, Bridge, Lescott, RSC, Johnson...Ade, Ned, Ireland and Onuoha just returning.
We still got a way to go yet and a lot of big guns to come back in the next few weeks...

Quite looking forward to the run in. I think we're going to be a handfull.

You missed Robinho. lol

United full strength except Vidic, we had a 19 year old at centre half marking Rooney in his 5th game. Defensively we were missing loads, and as mentioned £100m worth of talent either out/just returning or quitting on us.

That is not meant as an excuse but a pointer to how far we have come and just how strong our squad is.
We should remember that despite having Millionaire city thrown at us, we are still very much at the start of our journey.
We have travelled a very long way in a very short time.
It won't be long before we are not just knocking at the door but walking through it.
