I'd be interested to see what Bobby Manc would have done with them both.

He subbed one despite bringing him on as a sub then loaned him out to santos.

There were rumours he wanted Elano at inter though

I think he played his best match for City in that one. Had a couple of good free kicks and one hit the post or cross bar if memory serves.
But in the next League match against Fulham at home,he was benched and Etuhu started in his place !! Hughes didn't bring him on even after we were loosing and that match proved to be a 6 pointer for Fulham and eventually cost us a place in Europe !
I think that was the begining of the end for Elano with Hughes and he never recovered from it.

If he'd put that much efffort into each game, he'd still be at City & he'd be a hero. Instead he chose to complain about being asked to work hard & took the easy way out. I have no respect for him.

I do wonder if he was truly able to complete 90 minutes of solid hard work like other Players do on the pitch. He was found out a little when Michael Johnson originally got injured.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

How sweet it woul have been to hear that goal described as two manchester city players combining.

The difference in status between our respective clubs appears almost immeasurable by that simple question.

Hey walmai, where have you been, we haven't been able to properly thank you for winning us the world cup in '66, and for your contribution to the current one.

Funny stuff if it wasn't so depressing.

I'm lying low, Slim, waiting for a SWP hat-trick in the final.

He's not stopped running in these 2 games, something we've rarely seen with us. However, I'm with the OP, I miss Robinho!

Strange, I only want to see players who want to wear the sky blue shirt not a yellow one.

That's why it's a team game, but I wouldn't mind seeing him doing the same on an overcast day in October ;-)
