I've never bothered, as despite have good reliable streams, the picture quality just hasn't been good enough. Mind you, we do have a 40" to stretch it onto! Has anyone found any top quality streams?

Yeh my TV's 40" as well so suppose that would be far to wide. Just wonder if it would be any different streamed from something you pay for.

I've only ever used freebies, as I'm too stingy to pay for one unless I can guarantee its reliable and good quality. As for the free ones though, even full screen on my laptop they look grainy, so I usually watch them windowed.

Ours is 37" and we normally use the pay stream that I can't mention and wouldn't want to infer to be suggesting. A bit blurry at 37" but just remember ITV in the 70s! TV controls will fit the picture to screen obviously. Definitely watchable.

Not sure about the forthcoming Romanian feed and commentary though - no offence Romanian fans.

Quite a few people are unaware that when you put it to full screen, if you move back about 5 feet from your monitor, the picture becomes a lot better. This is not a piss take by the way, it actually works.

it just shows you how crap freeview really is, i mean the bbc would rather have 40 hours a week of top gear than but one of the best watched sides (according to sky not me) on tv!

itv have 4 fucking channels showing the same 8 films on rotation, surely no one will be arsed that Twister isn't on this week!

Oddly enough, I was trying to think of the name of that film a couple of days ago!

How was the Westvleteren?

slightly underwhelming- I had such great expectations. It was so powerful in taste that it almost got a bit one dimensional. I missed the nuances. Will have to try the 8 the next time.

sorry for not answering your pm yet. will do it tomorrow, but the trip seems a bit unlikely since it's in the middle of the week.
