They'd want to be pretty clear if they wanted to suspend and sue for breach of contract.

They'd have a case for looking for remaining value of contract and amortisation (or even a tribunal decided transfer fee) but it would be a long hard road. Chelsea probably won't see that Mutu money because he's dragged it out to the point where he won't care if his registration gets revoked for non payment.
