I don't doubt that his record puts Mancini into the great manager catagory but there is always debate to be had...it is what forums are for. I agree that we need the managerial stabilty you mention and at some point we have to handg our hat on a coach, trust him to carry us forward and see where it leads.
...but I can't agree that we have made "great strides" under Mancini. Maybe some things have improved, the squad is certainly stronger but our record shows we are not (yet) getting results or playing to a standard that is hugely different from last season. There are many questions that still need to answered about the tactics he employs.
