I don't want us to appeal anything. Let him learn his lesson. In fact, we should fine him for being stupid, and almost cost us the game.

I swear when I saw him sitting there in the penalty area banging his fists on the turf, I thought all he needed to complete the picture was a nice big bonnet.
It was so ridiculous I had to laugh
At best I'd start Ade but put Balo on the bench to motivate Ade.
It would be too risky to start him until he learns how to behave, at least in a reasonably adult manner

Correct. I believe an impartial hearing would over turn that red card.

Balotelli it seems is important to Mancini's preferred set up.
That being the case, get it appealed, get him playing n this game and let him frighten them to death. Think of all the loons over the years who could be wound up, but were dangerous players, you were always happier when they didn't play against you.
We'll just have to make do with Ade after that for games against Brum and the like.

Reminds me of young Wayne Rooney and his temper tantrums.

I think we should appeal, that was never a red card.

Balotelli was singled out during the entire game, Brunt talked shit to him, fouled him and even blatently kicked him with no intention to play the ball as well.
Given that his was only his second Premier League game I will forgive Mario for his antics especially considering that he scored 2 goals and won the game for us.
so now as every enemy circles our city
sour and sore, we swear war

They will, it would be strange for Richards to be up front, beat a man like Balo does, score, etc. But it is a brilliant idea nonetheless ;)

I'd rather appeal and have ten men for the last 20 minutes then play the fucking pleb adebayor and basically have 10 men for the whole game.

Least if balotelli is on he might grab a goal or 2 and give the scums defence something else to think about. Let's face it with tevez upfront on his own the scums tactics are simple, vidic sticks to tevez like a genital wart. With balotelli on they have to defend properly and constantly for the game and if anyone else has watched any of there games you will know thats something they just cant seem to do.

OK this is Wed!!

We will appeal and due to timescales he will be allowed to play, the FA will do this in the hope that Mancini plays him from the start thus risking him getting another red in the derby and to fuck us over. The papers would love this to happen!

However Mancini will be coy, let it out in pre match conference that he's playing from the start. Wed morning papers will be full of shit from his past and over anaylasis about yesterdays incident. Come the game he will be benched with Ade starting up there with Tevez. It will be a hard fought game with them pulling a goal back each time we go ahead. The game will stand at 2 - 2 at 85mins, where he will make an appearence from the bench. In the dying seconds of injury time he will bag a stunning winner!!.

We will all cream ourselves, he will have instant hero status, the papers won't know what story to run, fergiscum will be the most wonderful shade of purple and we will sit joint second above Arsenal and Mario will get a 1 match ban the following day!!

Simples !!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

He might get wound up a lot, but he doesn't half wind up the opposition as well. Anyone remember Totti booting him in to next week and getting a red because he was giving him stick all match? I can imagine Wio falling for that trick easily.

Definately appeal.. there is a chance to get it recinded.. and as pointed out it would be worth it.

As for the situation in general, im pleased for him that he bagged two goals before getting sent off otherwise he would have been more than pissed off. Also the only way he is going to get used to the worst of the prem is to play in it. There have been a few good players with fiery tempers over the years and we just have to hope that Mancini can do a good job on him.. which if anyone can then i'd expect it to be him.

You mean 5 goals in 4 games Adebayor? The same lad who has 19 goals in 41 games overall?

I swear some folk don't watch us play.

Can't believe there are about 70 posts in this thread slagging off the player that got both goals in a 2-0 win in a difficult away fixture. Calm the fuck down people!
